Nope. That's not what I'm saying, so please don't put words in my mouth.

I'm saying that sin is sin; whether it be homosexuality or adultery.

So, it's time the Christian start looking at themselves and their own sin and stop comdemning others; regardless of their sin.

She is saying harshness in not necessary. She's also saying to not be hypocrites, to stop casting the first stone (we all have planks in our eyes!), to practice the biblical definition of Love.

I don't fully agree with this statement, also I would live to know what Lovinghim4ever thinks on that statement. I do not endorse judgement, but then again I do not defend sinful lifestyles however that comes about. I call outright sin what it is, Sin.

I believe homosexuality is a SIN. However, I do not believe that all homosexual relationships are without commitment.

Love is a commitment, and some commitments just go a little deeper than others; whether right or wrong.

But, it is not the Christians responsibility to be harsh with people for any reason.

I never said it was harsh to quote scripture against sin.

I said it is not a Christian's responsibility to be harsh toward the sinner.

It is NEVER appropriate for a Christian to have harsh motives when quoting scripture against sin.

Part of my point in this thread is that I've seen so much harshness toward gays that I question whether or not these harsh people really are Christians.
