It isn't that I "think" eternal punishment, but rather that JESUS explained it as being eternal punishment. I would never expect someone to accept something simply because of what I think.

Those verses you cited were speaking of GOD's anger, and not of His judgment, which is both final and eternal.

It is God's will that none should perish. It really doesn't seem like much of a decision to someone that knows Jesus. You are a joint heir with Christ on one hand or you can forever enjoy the freedom you demand separate from God. It is the natural order of things for God to be in control.
