Nero's name added up to 666 in Hebrew gematria, the alpha-numeric system of the day.

What's the ancient historical source which proves that the usual Hebrew transliteration of "Nero Caesar" added up to 666 in Hebrew gematria, instead of an intentionally-altered Hebrew spelling (e.g., why was an "n" added after "Nero" in "Neron"?), intentionally altered into a weird, never-actually-used spelling that adds up to 666 (just as people today could intentionally mis-transliterate into Hebrew the name of someone living today so that the mistransliterated name adds up to 666 in Hebrew gematria)?

Also, many different names add up to 666, so even if it could be proven that the usual Hebrew spelling of "Nero Caesar" added up to 666, or that the usual spelling of the name of someone living today adds up to 666, this doesn't require that that person is the Antichrist.

Also, note that nothing requires that the name of the Antichrist has to be transliterated into Hebrew in order for it to add up to 666. Revelation was originally addressed to Greek-speaking Gentile churches in the Roman province of "Asia" (Revelation 1:11), not to Hebrew-speaking Jewish churches in Judaea. And John the apostle used the ancient Greek alphabet to express the 666 number in Revelation 13:18 only because it was the most common alphabet used by the believers he was addressing at the time the book of Revelation was written.

Note that transliterating "Nero Caesar" even into Hebrew doesn't have to result in the name adding up to 666; it can instead add up to 617:

N -- Nun = 50 (cf. the "Ne" in "Nebo" in the Hebrew of Numbers 32:3: Nun for the "N" and nothing for the "e")

E /

R -- Reysh = 200

O -- Vav = 6 (cf. the "o" in "Nebo" being the letter Vav in the Hebrew of Numbers 32:3)

C -- Qowph = 100 (cf. "Kareah" in the Hebrew of Jer. 40:8 and "Caesar" being "Kaisar" in the Greek of Matt. 22:17)

A -- Aleph = 1 (cf. the "ae" in "Israel" in the Hebrew of Genesis 32:28: Aleph for the "a" and nothing for the "e")

E /

S -- Samek = 60 (cf. the "sar" in "Ellasar" in the Hebrew of Genesis 14:1: Samek for the "s" and nothing for the "a")

A /

R -- Reysh = 200

Total = 617

Furthermore, his name adds up to 616 in Greek gemetria, which causes some Bibles to have a footnote reading "some MSS read 616". Either is technically correct.

Any Revelation manuscript with 616 is incorrect, possibly altered by those who mistakenly thought that Nero had been the Antichrist (the beast) of Revelation. The true gematrial number of the name of the man who will be the Antichrist is 666 (Revelation 13:17b-18): Irenaeus (born c. 140 AD) said "this number [666] being found in all the most approved and ancient copies [of Revelation], and those men who saw John face to face bearing their testimony; while reason also leads us to conclude that the number of the name of the beast, according to the Greek mode of calculation by the [value of] the letters contained in it, will amount to six hundred and sixty and six" (Against Heresies 5:30:1).

This mode of calculation, or method of gematria, is the same in the Greek alphabet, the Hebrew alphabet and any other alphabet: the first nine letters in the alphabet are 1 through 9, the next nine letters are 10 through 90 (counting by tens), and the rest of the letters are 100, 200, 300, etc., to the end of the alphabet.

Note that Nero didn't fulfill the detailed references to the beast (the Antichrist) in Revelation 13:4-18, Revelation 16:2-16 and Revelation 19:19-21. Nor did Nero fulfill the other Antichrist scriptures (e.g. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-9, Daniel 11:31,36, cf. Matthew 24:15). John didn't write the prophecies of Revelation until decades after the time of Nero. Irenaeus (born c. 140 AD) said: "We will not, however, incur the risk of pronouncing positively as to the name of Antichrist; for if it were necessary that his name should be distinctly revealed in this present time, it would have been announced by him [John] who beheld the apocalyptic vision [Revelation]. For that was seen no very long time since, but almost in our day, towards the end of Domitian's reign" (Against Heresies 5:30:3c). The end of Domitian's reign was 96 AD. Nero's reign was 54-68 AD. The prophecies in Revelation regarding the Antichrist haven't yet been fulfilled. When the Antichrist appears on the world stage in the future, the gematrial number of his name will add up to 666 (Revelation 13:17b-18).

In Revelation 13:17b-18, the "counting", the adding up, of the number of the name of the individual man who is the Antichrist (the beast) should be done in the same way that the gematrial numerical values of the three Greek letters (Chi, Xi, Stigma) at the end of Revelation 13:18 (in the original Greek) are added up to arrive at the number 666. The gematrial numerical values of the letters of the ancient Greek alphabet (including the three obsolete letters of Stigma, Qoppa and Sampi) were as follows:

Alpha = 1

Beta = 2

Gamma = 3

Delta = 4

Epsilon = 5

(Stigma = 6)

Zeta = 7

Eta = 8

Theta = 9

Iota = 10

Kappa = 20

Lambda = 30

Mu = 40

Nu = 50

Xi = 60

Omikron = 70

Pi = 80

(Qoppa = 90)

Rho = 100

Sigma = 200

Tau = 300

Upsilon = 400

Phi = 500

Chi = 600

Psi = 700

Omega = 800

(Sampi = 900)

Just as the gematrial numerical values of the letters Chi, Xi and Stigma at the end of Revelation 13:18 (in the original Greek) add up to 666, so the gematrial numerical values of the letters of the name of the man who is the Antichrist will add up to 666 (Revelation 13:17b-18).

The gematrial principle (assigning numerical values to letters in an alphabet based on their position within that alphabet) applies to any alphabet. In Revelation 13:17b-18, John the apostle used the ancient Greek alphabet only because it was the most common alphabet used by believers at the time the book of Revelation was written. Today, the most common alphabet used by believers is the English alphabet, insofar as English is the current lingua franca of the world. So the gematrial numerical values of the letters of the name of the man who is the Antichrist will most likely add up to 666 in the English alphabet.

The whole purpose of Revelation 13:17b-18 is to facilitate for believers, not to make difficult for them, the identification of a certain man as possibly being the Antichrist. If the letters of his name had to be transliterated into the ancient Greek alphabet, this would vitiate this purpose, for almost all believers today wouldn't know how to properly perform the transliteration (as God himself would perform it), and different believers would no doubt come up with variant, competing transliterations, and therefore would arrive at variant, competing gematrial numbers for the name of the certain man in question.

If Christians think that someone is the Antichrist, they need to check and make sure that the gematrial number of his name is 666 (Revelation 13:17b-18). If it isn't, then he isn't the Antichrist, and they need to keep on looking out for the real Antichrist. If it is 666, then he could be the Antichrist, and they need to be especially wary of him and not be snookered by him through any deceptive charisma, intelligence or amazing deeds that he might display. But even if 666 is the number of someone's name, it doesn't mean that he's definitely the Antichrist, for 666 is the number of many different names.

The Antichrist also has to come from a country the territory of which used to be part of one of the four Diadochian Greek kingdoms which succeeded the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great (Daniel 8:8-9,21-25). These four kingdoms stretched from Greece over to Iran, and down into Egypt. So the Antichrist will probably come from the Middle East. He could be an Arab who will come from Lebanon, from the modern city of Tyre (Ezekiel 28:2, cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:4), and have a name like (for example) "Nabil Abdullah Falakal al-Hakim", the gematrial number of which is 666.

But even if a man from the Middle East has a name the gematrial number of which is 666, even this won't assure that he's the Antichrist. For the Antichrist also has to sit in a third Jewish temple in Jerusalem and proclaim himself God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Daniel 11:31,36, Matthew 24:15, Revelation 11:1-2). Once he does that, there won't be any room for doubt about whether or not he's the Antichrist; his identity will have been definitely revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

The gematrial numerical values of the letters of the English alphabet are:

A=1

B=2

C=3

D=4

E=5

F=6

G=7

H=8

I=9

J=10

K=20

L=30

M=40

N=50

O=60

P=70

Q=80

R=90

S=100

T=200

U=300

V=400

W=500

X=600

Y=700

Z=800

The way that the gematrial number of a name is "counted" (Revelation 13:17b-18), added up, is simply by adding up the gematrial numerical values of all the letters in that name. So, for example, the number of the name "John Mark Smith" is 636, because:

J=10

O=60

H=8

N=50

M=40

A=1

R=90

K=20

S=100

M=40

I=9

T=200

H=8

Total = 636

The priests had the authority to call down fire from heaven (offer sacrifices) . . .

Note that the offering of sacrifices in first century Jerusalem wasn't the same as miraculously calling fire down from heaven (Revelation 13:13), which the False Prophet will do in the future, possibly as a Luciferian counterfeit of 1 Kings 18:19-40.

For example, what the False Prophet could do is gather together all the most prominent leaders of the Christian community worldwide to the Champ de Mars (Mars being the same as Marduk, the chief god of ancient Babylon), which is the large open space in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. And he could then tell them during a ceremony televised/webcasted live worldwide to pray to YHWH to send fire down and destroy the Tower. And when the Christian leaders pray and YHWH doesn't do anything (by his own choice), the False Prophet could then stand up and pray to Lucifer (Satan) to send fire down and destroy the Tower, and Lucifer could do so (allowed to do so by YHWH), so that 1 Kings 18:38-40 will be turned on its head, so that news reporters could write (in their words) "Then the fire of Lucifer fell, and consumed the Eiffel Tower. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, Lucifer, he is the God; Lucifer, he is the God. And the True Prophet said unto them, Take these men of YHWH! Let not one of them escape! And they took them: and the True Prophet brought them down to the river Seine, and slew them there" (as a Luciferian counterfeit of 1 Kings 18:38-40).

But would YHWH really let something like this ever happen? Would he let Christians pray to him to send fire down from heaven but refuse to do so, while allowing Lucifer to send fire down at the beck of the False Prophet? Sure, YHWH could let that happen, as a test to Christians, to see if they love signs and wonders more than YHWH (Deuteronomy 13:1-3). Believers must always remember that not all signs and wonders are from the true God, that Lucifer/Satan can also give people the power to perform them (e.g. 2 Thessalonians 2:9), in order to deceive people (Matthew 24:24-25, Revelation 13:13-14, Revelation 19:20).

The way to not be deceived is to continue to believe everything that the Bible teaches (John 8:31b, Matthew 4:4, 2 Timothy 3:15-4:4), no matter how amazing the miracles are of someone who teaches something which contradicts the Bible (Matthew 24:24, 1 Timothy 4:1). And the way to continue to believe everything that the Bible teaches is to not continue in any unrepentant sin, for otherwise our consciences could become seared as with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:2), to where we could even become willing to depart from the faith and give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1), to where we could no longer endure the sound doctrine of the Bible, but after our own lusts heap to ourselves teachers who teach us fables which support us in our lusts (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

God calls them 'the False Prophet.'

Note that the False Prophet (Revelation 13:11-16, Revelation 16:13, Revelation 19:20) doesn't have to be a "them", but can be an individual. He could currently be a (secretly apostate) Cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church, preparing himself to become the next Pope. If he becomes the next Pope, he could begin his tenure by making a great push for peace and unity between Christianity and Islam. He could say something like: "Why do we fight each other? Are we not all the spiritual children of Abraham and of his God, the one God? Can't we lay aside our foolish, man-made differences of theology, which have done us no good at all, but only brought us hatred and violence, and unite into one religion of Abraham, one religion of peace, based on love for the one God and love for our fellow man? What is more important than this?"

If the False Prophet becomes the next Pope, he could be so skillful in elucidating what the moderate Muslims could call "the true, peaceful, loving nature of Islam", that he could be hailed by them worldwide as (in their words) "A Great Imam, come to rescue our beloved Islam from the terrible reputation falsely given to it by the terrorists". In this way, the next Pope could come to hold high positions of power in two religions at the same time, which could be symbolized by the "two horns" of the False Prophet (Revelation 13:11).

The False Prophet could try to employ the Biblical prophecy of the second coming of Jesus, as well as the Muslim prophecy which says that the miracle-working prophet Jesus will return bodily from heaven in the last days to bring the whole earth into the worship of the true God. For the False Prophet could claim that he is Jesus, returned to bring the whole earth into the worship of the true God, and he could perform amazing miracles (Revelation 13:13) as purported "proof" of his claim (cf. John 3:2). (This is why it's so important to know when and how the real Jesus' second coming will happen: Matthew 24:29-31, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, Revelation 19:7-20:6, Zechariah 14:3-21.)

Once the False Prophet by his amazing miracles has brought the whole earth under his spell (Revelation 13:13-16, Revelation 19:20), including most nominal Muslims and Christians (who may not care much for scriptural dogma, but could go ga-ga over his signs and wonders), he could begin to "reveal" to the world (what he could call) "The real message which was spoken by me (Jesus) at my first coming, and by the great prophet Mohammed, but which message became corrupted by power-hungry men when they copied and changed the early manuscripts of the Bible and the Koran". He could then gradually initiate the world into the Antichrist's Luciferian Gnosticism (1 John 4:3, Revelation 13:4-6), a religion which could have existed since ancient times in some "mystery" cults, and which still exists today in the highest degree of initiation of a worldwide secret society.

There is no singular antichrist . . .

The individual man commonly called "the" Antichrist is the singular "antichrist" who will come (1 John 2:18a), the individual "man of sin" who will sit in a third Jewish temple and proclaim himself God (2 Thessalonians 2:3b-4, Daniel 11:36), the individual-human aspect of the "beast" who will come (Revelation 13:18) and be worshipped by the whole world (Revelation 13:8), and who will rule the whole earth for 42 months (Revelation 13:5-10) and have a miracle-working False Prophet (Revelation 19:20) who by Luciferian/Satanic miracles (2 Thessalonians 2:9), such as calling fire down from heaven in the sight of everyone, will deceive the whole world into worshipping a living, speaking image of the Antichrist and receiving his mark on their right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:13-18).

The spirit of antichrist which will animate the coming Antichrist has been working since the first century (2 Thessalonians 2:7a), animating many antichrists since that time (1 John 2:18b,22, 2 John 1:7). The spirit of antichrist denies that Christ himself is in the flesh (1 John 4:3, cf. Luke 24:39) and denies that Jesus himself is the Christ or the Son (1 John 2:22), so that anyone who denies these things is an antichrist (1 John 2:18b, 2 John 1:7).

Note that the idea of the Antichrist doesn't have to be explicitly referred to in scripture as "the Antichrist" in order for it to be true and supported by scripture, just as, for example, the idea of the Trinity doesn't have to be explicitly referred to in scripture as "the Trinity" in order for it to be true and supported by scripture.

That's why Irenaeus (born c. 140 AD) used the term: "speaking of Antichrist, [Paul] says, 'who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped'" (Against Heresies 3:6:5; quoting 2 Thessalonians 2:4).

"...by means of the events which shall occur in the time of Antichrist is it shown that he, being an apostate and a robber, is anxious to be adored as God" (Against Heresies 5:25:1; cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Daniel 11:36, Revelation 13:8).

"...when this Antichrist shall have devastated all things in this world, he will reign for three years and six months, and sit in the temple at Jerusalem" (Against Heresies 5:30:4b; cf. Revelation 13:5, 2 Thessalonians 2:4).

"...the number of the name of the beast ... the name of Antichrist" (Against Heresies 5:30:1; cf. Revelation 13:17b-18).

Gnostic/Docetic teachers who said that Jesus was not a man but a spirit.

The Antichrist and his False Prophet (possibly masquerading as Jesus) will not only deny that Christ himself is in the flesh (1 John 4:3), but will also deny that Jesus himself is the Christ (1 John 2:22). Because they will bring the world into the worship of Lucifer (Satan, the dragon) instead (Revelation 13:4), the Antichrist and his False Prophet could say that (the non-flesh) Lucifer is the Christ, that the "new name" of Christ (Revelation 3:12b) is "Lucifer Christ". For just as "Lucifer" (Isaiah 14:12) means "the morning star", so Christ is the morning star (Revelation 22:16b). Also, Christ identified himself with the serpent (John 3:14), and Lucifer (the devil) is the serpent (Revelation 12:9).

The truth is that Lucifer fell from his office of morning star (Isaiah 14:12) and became Satan (cf. Luke 10:18); Jesus the Christ has taken over the office of morning star (Revelation 22:16). And Jesus the Christ identified himself only with the brass serpent on the pole in Numbers 21:8-9 (John 3:14), which typified Jesus the Christ's crucifixion for our sins (John 19:16, Matthew 26:28).

Nonetheless, the Antichrist could falsely say that Lucifer is the Christ and the true and beneficent God of mankind, and that the False Prophet is the miracle-working prophet Jesus (John 3:2, Acts 3:22-24), returned to point the world to the true Christ/God. The Antichrist could falsely say that he (the Antichrist) is the human/divine "Son" of Lucifer, who must be be worshipped as God along with Lucifer (Revelation 13:4,8). This would be similar to how Biblical Christians now rightly worship the human/divine Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14) as God (the Son) along with God the Father (John 20:28, Hebrews 1:8).

Near the end of the coming tribulation of Revelation chapters 6-18, miracle-working unclean spirits like frogs will come out from the mouth of Lucifer (the dragon), and out from the mouth of the Antichrist (the beast), and out from the mouth of the False Prophet (Revelation 16:13). And these miracle-working unclean spirits like frogs will go forth and convince all nations to gather their armies together at Armageddon (Har Megiddo: Mount Megiddo in northern Israel) in an attempt to fight a great battle against YHWH himself (Revelation 16:14-16, Revelation 19:19). Once all the nations' armies have gathered together at Armageddon, they will then proceed south and pillage Jerusalem, right before the second coming of the real Jesus (who is YHWH: John 10:30) defeats them completely (Zechariah 14:2-21, Revelation 19:21-20:6).

I don't recall ever seeing any place where nero had all the people put a mark in thier hands of forheads, and the mark in revelation is a mark or scratch.

The mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-17, Revelation 16:2) could be a physical mark which will be placed on people via ritual scarification. For in the Bible the original Greek word used to refer to the "mark" of the beast can refer to a scratch or etching, and scarification is the scratching or etching of the skin just deep enough to leave a permanent mark.

The mark will be the name of the man who is the Antichrist (the beast) "or" the gematrial number of his name (Revelation 13:17-18), meaning that the mark will be the Antichrist's name for some people and the gematrial number of his name for other people. The mark will be placed on the right hand (probably on the palm) "or" on the forehead (Revelation 13:16), meaning that it will be placed on the right hands of some people and on the foreheads of other people. The Antichrist may reserve the mark of his name for only a special class of his followers, such as a faux 144,000, who could also be the only ones to receive the mark on the forehead (as a counterfeit of Revelation 14:1), instead of on the right hand (Revelation 13:16).

Those who refuse to receive the mark of the beast won't be allowed to buy or sell anything (Revelation 13:17), and they'll be executed by being beheaded if they refuse to worship the Antichrist and his image (Revelation 13:15, Revelation 20:4). Christians must be willing to suffer this fate rather than agree to receive the mark of the beast or worship the Antichrist or his image, for those who agree to do those things (even if they're Christians) will suffer God's wrath in fire and brimstone forever (Revelation 14:9-13), while those Christians who refuse to do those things, even though they'll be beheaded, will subsequently be resurrected into immortality (along with the rest of the church) at Jesus Christ's second coming (Revelation 20:4-6, 1 Corinthians 15:21-23,52-58). And even before their resurrection, at the moment of the death of their bodies their still-conscious souls will be brought into the presence of Jesus himself in heaven (cf. 2 Corinthians 5:8, Philippians 1:21,23, Revelation 6:9-10, Luke 23:43,46).

The institution of the mark of the beast (the Antichrist) will occur in the future in connection with the world being deceived through the amazing miracles of the False Prophet of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:13-18, Revelation 19:20) into worshipping Lucifer (the dragon, Satan) and the Antichrist and a speaking image of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:4-18, Revelation 12:9).

In their devotion to the Antichrist as God (Revelation 13:8, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Daniel 11:36), some people could gladly be willing to have his name engraved on their right palms, just as lovers in the past were sometimes known to engrave the initials of their loved ones on their palms (cf. also Isaiah 49:16). Other people could gladly be willing to have the Antichrist's name engraved on their foreheads, thinking (wrongly) that they're fulfilling the idea of Revelation 22:4, which refers to the future point in time when Jesus will have the name of God literally written on the foreheads of all obedient Christians (Revelation 3:12). The miracle-working False Prophet of the Antichrist, who will be the one to cause everyone to be marked with the mark of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:16-18), could even convince people that he (the False Prophet) is Jesus returned (but he won't say that he's Christ/God, for he and the Antichrist will deny that Jesus is Christ/God: 1 John 2:22).

Instead of having the name of the Antichrist engraved on their right hands or foreheads, some people will have the gematrial number of his name (Revelation 13:17-18) engraved on their right hands or foreheads. The gematrial number of the Antichrist's name is 666 (Revelation 13:17-18). But because some people could refuse to have this number engraved upon their bodies, in order to make a mark of 666 acceptable to all people, it could be disguised to look like something else in those cases where people demand something other than "666". For example, it could be disguised in some cases to look like "777", "WWW", "VVV", "|| || ||" or "FFF". For the sixth letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet represents the number 6, but it looks like a "7", and it's transliterated into English either as a "W" or a "V". Also, two thin vertical lines "||" represent the number 6 on many UPC codes. And the letter "F" also has a numerical value of 6, in English gematria.

In a curious coincidence, "FFF" also stands for a most powerful type of nuclear bomb: Fission-Fusion-Fission. Could this be the type of bomb with which the ten kings of the Antichrist's empire will burn up all the cities of the world near the end of the coming tribulation (Revelation 17:12,16-17a, Revelation 16:19, Revelation 19:2,11)?

Those assigned to have the mark placed on their foreheads (instead of on their hands) could be those who will be an elite, illumined, cognoscenti class of Gnostic Luciferians who alone will have been given knowledge of the ultimate secrets of the Antichrist's Gnostic Luciferianism. The Antichrist will be both a Luciferian (Revelation 13:4) and a Gnostic, denying that Christ is in the flesh (1 John 4:3), and forbidding marriage and the eating of meat (1 Timothy 4:1-3). The cream of his cognoscenti could be a faux 144,000, consisting of male virgins (as a counterfeit of Revelation 14:4) who have never eaten meat. If they receive the mark of the Antichrist's name on their foreheads, this will be as a counterfeit of YHWH's 144,000 in Revelation 14:1. But the Antichrist won't pretend that he's YHWH, just as he won't pretend that he's Christ. Instead, as a Gnostic he will utterly revile YHWH (Revelation 13:6, Daniel 11:36). And his Gnostic denial that Christ is in the flesh (1 John 4:3) will disqualify him (under his mistaken Gnostic doctrine) from being the Christ.

i also don't remember seeing or reading aobut any kind of image that was given the power to speak.

As was touched on earlier, the False Prophet of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:11-16, Revelation 19:20) could have a mechanical/technological image of the Antichrist (the beast) made after the Antichrist receives a terrible head wound which kills him (Revelation 13:14b,3). Even though the Antichrist could be resuscitated back to life by a team of excellent doctors who could follow him with all the latest life-saving devices wherever he goes, he may never make a full recovery in that his head wound could leave his facial and bodily appearance permanently marred, and he may never be able to speak clearly again (like someone after a bad stroke), so that he won't want to ever appear or speak in public again. The False Prophet could then assign the world's best roboticists and computer programmers to design and make a lifelike humanoid robot that appears to be alive and speaks (Revelation 13:15) and looks just like the Antichrist did before his head wound, so that the robot will from then on be the public stand-in for the wounded Antichrist.

Did you ever see that movie "Dave"? It had a President who was in a coma, so his handlers found a regular guy who looked exactly like the President, and had him be a public stand-in for the President. He was able to speak just like the President did. It could be like that with the image of the Antichrist; it could be the Antichrist's "Dave", his double, that appears before the world instead of his wounded self. But instead of telling people that the robot-image of the Antichrist is the Antichrist himself, the False Prophet could tell people from the beginning that the image of the Antichrist is a separate entity than the Antichrist himself, but one which still fully represents the Antichrist.

In Revelation 13:15, the original Greek word translated as "life" can mean "mind", so that the robot could appear to have its own mind, its own consciousness. The way this could be achieved would be through the robot having wireless connections to massive banks of supercomputers running highly-advanced artificial intelligence software. The False Prophet could claim that the mind, the consciousness, of the Antichrist himself dwells within the robot by means of neural networks imprinted with the brain patterns of the Antichrist. But this could be a lie, in that the robot won't actually have the Antichrist's consciousness, or any true consciousness, but will only appear to have consciousness. It could pass even the most stringent Turing Test, a test whereby one speaks with a computer and can't tell whether it has consciousness or not because all of its answers are the same as if it had consciousness.

But the "consciousness" of the robot could appear far more advanced than any human's, for it could have access to gigantic databases containing every fact known to man (and every fact known to the devil and his fallen angels), so that the robot will appear to be omniscient, so that it could convince the world that it's not just a machine, but a material incarnation, a machine avatar, of the true God, a literal "deus ex machina", a literal "God from a machine". And this "God" could boast not only of his mental powers but also of his physical powers: the robot could be extremely strong. And this "God" could boast of the "immortality" of his machine body, which could be made of titanium (covered with some practically everlasting flesh-like rubber).

People could just be completely awestruck by his (what they could call) "omniscient wisdom, his strength, his indestructibility". They could consider him more than worthy of worship by (in their words) "mere humanity, which is so mentally limited and so physically limited, made out of mere flesh and blood which is so weak and so mortal". The world will worship the image of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:15) just as it will worship Lucifer (the dragon, the devil) and the Antichrist (the beast) (Revelation 13:4,8).

The robot-image of the Antichrist could be placed standing in the holy place of a third Jewish temple in Jerusalem, so that the robot becomes the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15, Daniel 11:31). And in order to make it easy for everyone in the world to be able to see the image and worship it (Revelation 13:15), it could be made to appear on every cell phone, Blackberry, GPS-navigation system, work computer, home computer, television, electronic billboard, etc. And to make it possible for everyone to interact with it personally, it could appear as a computer-generated image on each individual's cell phone, speaking in and understanding each individual's language, conversing with each individual with personalized messages and responses devised by supercomputers running artificial intelligence and language software.

And it could discuss with them even the most intimate details of their lives, for it could have access to huge databases compiled by the Antichrist's worldwide intelligence, law enforcement, economic and health agencies, databases containing all the facts about everyone: who their family and friends are, where they live and work, who their neighbors and coworkers are, how much they make, what cars and properties they own and use, what they buy, where they go, what they watch, what they read, what they say, what they write on the internet, what their health problems are, etc., so that the image of the Antichrist could seem to know everything about everyone.

A second reason that the Antichrist might want everyone to worship his image (besides the perfect robot-image serving as a stand-in for his possibly marred facial and bodily features and slurred speech after his head wound) would be that the worship of the image of the Antichrist will be connected with a daily surveillance and subjugation of everyone. The image's supercomputers could make the image automatically appear on everyone's cell phone at set times each day to be worshipped. Cell phones contain GPS chips which can be secretly pinged in order to determine the exact location of the cell phones. So when the image appears on everyone's cell phone, the image's supercomputers could ping the GPS chip of everyone's cell phone and know exactly where everyone is.

Also, cell phones contain cameras and microphones, which can be remotely opened secretly in order to be able to see and hear what's going on around the cell phones. So when the image appears on everyone's cell phone, the image's supercomputers could open the camera(s) and microphone of everyone's cell phone to determine what everyone's doing and saying, and the image could then demand that the individuals worship him as God, saying some set prayer of praise and adoration. And if any individuals refuse, the image's supercomputers could detect those individuals' non-compliance through the individuals' cell-phones' cameras and microphones. The image's supercomputers could then automatically notify the nearest police station of those individuals' exact locations, and order the police to arrest those individuals for blasphemy and treason. The individuals could then be given a chance to be "reformed" (through torture, if necessary), but if they prove recalcitrant, they will be executed (Revelation 13:15) by being beheaded (Revelation 20:4).

The beheading process itself could be made into quite a televised/webcasted spectacle, to serve not only as a dire warning to anyone thinking of refusing to worship the image, but also to serve as an amazingly-horrific entertainment for the masses, like how the ancient Romans made it an entertainment for the masses to gather them into the Colosseum in Rome and let them watch Christians being thrown to the lions and devoured alive.

Huge beheading structures could be built by which 20 "infidels/traitors" could be beheaded at one time by the single fall of a single blade. The "infidels/traitors" could be bound in a row along an upright "U"-shaped device with a track for a huge and extremely massive and extremely sharp guillotine blade, which could start out in a resting position at the top of one side. The blade could be so massive and so sharp that when it's released, it will easily slice down through 10 necks on one side of the "U" and continue on by its own momentum up the other side of the "U", shearing off another 10 heads. This all could happen so quickly that it will appear as if all 20 heads are struck off almost in unison, followed immediately by 20 geysers of blood rushing out in unison for all the Antichrist's "faithful" to gawk at and cheer over in the comfort of their own homes before their televisions, computers or web-enabled devices.

Immediately after the show is over, at the site where it took place teams of surgeons could rush in to "harvest" all the fresh organs and other body parts from the beheaded bodies to be used for transplants (beheading being the best way for a body to die if you want to harvest its parts).

With regard to the actual worship of the image, to help foster a group dynamic every neighborhood and village in the world could be helped to create a group worship center, in which everyone will have to gather together at a set time every evening to bow down and prostrate himself before a life-size, lifelike image of the Antichrist, which could be a computer-generated, animated, holographic (or 3-D, HD) image of him clothed in beautiful golden robes and standing majestically before them (or sitting upon a magnificient golden throne) and speaking computer-generated customized messages to them as a group.

This worship could be accompanied by the most beautiful symphonic music (cf. Daniel 3:5) (or whatever is the most beautiful music to the local people) to help them (in the words of the Antichrist's propaganda machine) "be uplifted into the true spirit of praise and worship of our gracious Lord and Master. Praised be His Majestic Name forever and ever!", etc. And what with the wonderful music, and all their fellow worshippers around them, and customized messages of encouragement spoken in a deep, soothing voice by a life-size holographic (or 3-D, HD) image of the Antichrist to certain members of each "worship group", it could be that some people in each group will start to really get into the evening worship sessions, and even begin to (in their words) "truly feel the Living Presence of our loving God among us, loving us so tenderly, so personally! Oh, how I love Him! He is So Great!"

But the world's worship of the Antichrist's image (Revelation 13:15), no matter how blissful it may become for some people, and the world's worship of the Antichrist (the beast) and Lucifer (the dragon) (Revelation 13:4), will last for less than four years (Revelation 13:5, Daniel 12:11-12) before Jesus Christ returns from heaven and completely defeats the Antichrist and Lucifer (Revelation 19:20-20:3), and Jesus then sets up his own, 1000-year physical kingdom on the earth with the just-resurrected church (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29).

Living Death

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Revelation 13:15

It's An Eternal Thing

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11

Eternal Life

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:12-13

It's A Godly Thing

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:4-8

There Is Still Time

The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:35-36
