Some of those circles look like they've been drafted out carefully beforehand and if they're using ropes to make them, how can they tell they're getting the circles drawn into the crops to make them appear the way they want? Each circle seems to be different and unique in it's own way. Kat Simple. Two guys. One sands at one end of the rope with a 2x4 attached at the end (To push down the stalks) and the other stands holding the other end. They hold the rope taught (sic) and the guy on the inside end of the rope turns in a circle, while the other guy pushes down the stalks.

When they say crop 'circles' they aren't really circles at all. Take a look at some of the ones on this site. Angel is right. They examine them and find that the crops on the outer edges are completey untouched. And the way the stocks are broken are weird. With a maze some of its done easily enough because you have a way in or out or both. And I've heard of the radiation level thing too.

Guest Orthodox Christian
And what about those cases when there are circles which look like they were made with a rope and right next to them there are circles with standing crop in the middle. How would you make concentric circles with a rope? And if you have a bunch of college students having fun, you would find their footsteps and other evidence (beer bottles, sigarette buds, etc.). I'm pretty sure that's devil's work. Even if it is just another hoax.
