We believe they are a new creation, thus they will avoid this lifestyle, and if in it, will be brought out of this lifestyle eventually.

Okay, what if someone never gets brought out of the sinful lifestyle? Then what happens?

BTw, this is beginning to look like another witch hunt.

"Joel said we could be wrong! He's a heretic"

I would've liked to participate in this thread and discuss the topic..but it looks like I won't be able to do so if it's already getting personal. How did this topic end up about Super Jew?

How about posting things about the topic instead of one's like this and we can move on. Just a thought.

No witches here Joel...at the moment anyway :P ...just searching for the truth. I don't think anyone thinks you're a heretic. You are a brother in Christ. :)

called, thank you for sticking to the issues.

If someone is never brought out, it means one of two things:

1) They weren't saved to begin with. A new creation cannot deny itself. Likewise, we cannot give back what doesn't belong to us. And finally, because salvation is not works based, a sinful lifestyle would mean they were saved to begin with or weren't.

2) God takes them home. In 1 John it talks about sinning unto death. Those that are truly His children sin to such a point He takes them home.

You've attacked me KMB, you have no ground to make this statement. You took it off topic by attacking who I am instead of the issues, thus by telling Tess to stick to the issues you're making a hypocritical statement.

Witchhunt? No. I personally enjoy a friendly debate with you. It's when people start ganging up on others and turning into a not so friendly debate is when I don't enjoy it. BTW, you said it, not us. Perhaps you should clarify what you mean? What role does faith play if you think it could all be wrong? Why the worry then?

First, even what is in the Bible could be false Bob. WE have to accept the fact that we could be wrong.

Then you better start readiing your Bible :)

You'd be wise to leave this discussion if you're only going to result to personal attacks, especially as a monitor.

Nice try...but I ain't gonna bite

First, you and Bob ganged up on me, so are you admitting you've turned this into a non-friendly debate?

Secondly, I already did clarify. You can go back and read my post.

Then you better start readinig your Bible

Even the Bible could be wrong.

Also, no bait was set. I was telling the truth. If all you're going to do is resort to personal attacks, then as a monitor and in setting an example, it'd be wise to leave.
