I am uncomfortable when someone asks "are you religious?' in a well meaning way, because I have seen "religious" people who live under the law. I prefer to say I believe in the lord Jesus Christ. Hi Fez, I agree the word "religion" has a lot of things associated with it's meaning that is not true. Like the words "innocence" and "genuine" both are pure no corruption. But people associate the word pure with a lack of experience wheras the word genuine they don't. I am not bothered if someone asks me if I'm religious or says that I sound religious. Because I consider myself to be and I believe I have spiritual knowledge to share with others and I consider that to be a gift. But I do so know what you mean and it so true.
