Not a pleasant perspective. The people that saw and warned about the horror of Hitler were ignored until it was to late to stop the madness of a world war. Just about everything seems to start off with good intentions but what do you do when the corner is turned and it simply plays into the hands of sensual behavior and a centralized power system aborationally grows from it. Madness man, sheer madness. Our Lord was born into a mad time, He will come again and set the world at peace but until then, madness man, sheer madness. Over and over again. I agree with most of that, except for the "good intentions" part. I think if people aren't Christian, they are self serving and everything they do is to promote their own interests, good intentions is a con job, and is used to get others to buy into their ideas. I'm having a pretty heated disqus conversation with a self described "intellectualist" yet all this person seems to be posting is anti-religion bigotry and is trying to lump all religions into one bucket. For instance, this person is blaming all theists for the taliban attack on the school today.

I could have written "with some". in other words even "with" Hitler there was the preaching and hope of national freedom and pride and a can do attitude. His party did energize a nation that had just about everything against it at the time. To me it's a centralized power system that pushes an ideal upon a people that is dangerous. Even when that ideal seems well intended and seems to be in the best interest of a nation at the time. Easy on those discussions, I do think it's biblical to to walk from debates, depending. Revelation 12:12 The inhabitants of the earth are never really safe. It pays to be ready to meet Christ. There is a deliberate ruining of free countries, which are fast becoming extensions of socialism.
