War in Israel!

OK, the nations of the world are turning against Israel. Most of Europe is now taking serious actions to condemn Israel's use excessive force. America is giving the strongest condemnation ever (although still supporting them with the billions of dollars of taxpayers money every year). However, the question arises, why would all the nations of the world turn against a peace loving nation? They wouldn't - Israel doesn't love peace. Don't get me wrong, the Palestinians are no better, but right now, and for the last 35 years, it has been Israel, not Palestine, that has been occupying, and humiliating. There have been appalling numbers of Israelis killed in terrorist attacks, yes, but how many more Palestinians, even in the last week? The nations of the world are turning against Israel because of the way Israel is acting. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the all nations will hate Israel for fun - it has to be for a reason, and Israel's horrendous response to the crimes committed against her are that very reason.

Check out Judges - Israel are not always faithful to God. However, our relationship to Israel should be similar to David's with Saul at the end Saul's life (see 2 Sam:1 ), where, no matter what evil Saul did, David still respected him as "The Lord's anointed." This is not the same as blindly and unquestioningly supporting everything Israel does, no matter how horrendous the crime they commit. There are things going on now in Israel (like the closure for 6 days of Jenin refugee camp to ambulances, which is a war crime, and the burying of hundreds of victims in mass graves in the desert) which would rightly prompt rage from the rest of the world if it were any other country doing them (even under considerable provocation). Why do Christians turn off the brain and say that Israel has the right to do what they want?

I don't think thats what most of us are doing adsimpson. Most of us hate that innocents are being killed both in Israel and in the occupied territories. If Israel has committed "war crimes" the perpetrators do need to be held accountable. We just don't believe the propaganda that is being tossed around.

Praise Adonai, I'm not blind! O Heavenly Father, let the weight of your glory fall. Israel owns the land, can't you see? They are occupying their own land. Like it or not. Islam and satan want to destroy Israel. Time is short and the father of lies is desperate. Everything out of Arafat's mouth (in English) is a lie. The propaganda they shovel is so ridiculous, I can't see how anyone could fall for it. What kind of people would keep their own in a refugee camp? What kind of people would train their children to be suicide bombers and then convince the world it is politically correct. Arafat said he would arrest the terrorists. He did arrest a few, but they went in the front door of the prison and out the back door. Israel had no choice but to go after them. Barak offered Arafat everything but the kitchen sink, AND HE CHOSE TERRORISM. Negotiations would probably be going on right now, except for the 'million martyrs' Arafat is calling for in Arabic after he calls for peace in English. Saddam Hussein is Arafat's best buddy, that should tell you something. Unquestioningly? I question everything that is not in God's word. It is the people that don't question the reports on the news that are deceived. Why is the land 'occupied' anyway? Could it be because Israel's neighbors have made a habit of attacking her and Israel needs defensible borders? Well, Muhammed and his boys have seen that although they outnumber Israel 254 to 1, they just can't seem to whip her. Wonder why? So they are doing their best to get the rest of the world to do the job they can't handle by feeding us a constant stream of lies. Israel is currently on 1/6 of 1 per cent of 'Arab' land, but somehow the world has been convinced they are greedy land-grabbers. Go figure. Jews were pesecuted in Arab countries with far worse than the Palestinians are suffering for HUNDREDS of years. Who cried for the Jews? Where was the UN? For every Palestinian refugee there was a Jewish refugee forced out of their home in an Arab country. The Jews have more respect for their own than to use them as POLITICAL PAWNS.

I would like to know where the proof is for these mass graves. Just because it is said in the media does not make it so. The ambassador to the us from Palastine was asked last night if they could prove masacre of civilians. He evaded the question by saying how is one to give a description of masacre. One person killed is a masacre. Since he was point blank asked for proof with the Red Cross saying only 40 bodies, most of which were malitia he evaded the question because they have no proof. Also look at the destruction in Jenin. We have been told all through this that Israelis were killed because of booby traps set by the Palestinians themselves. How much of that damage did they do to there own space. Did they even care that some of their own people may run into some of the booby traps. Of course not, they only cared about getting as many of the infidels as possible. Destruction of their own homes and people was not even an after thought. Lets look at it from Gods point, He gave the Israelites that land. The Palestinians are not only fighting Israel but they are directly defying God himself. God is not going to give them mercy. The problem I have with listening to alot of this is people keep basing their thinking on news and opinion. This is going to get alot uglier, alot more death, alot more destruction. If we as christians do not have our feet firmly planted with God we are subject to persuasion. This is where the chaf is getting separated from the wheat. When we read the OT the stories are so distant from us that we are not really affected by them. But the God that had Joshua destoy the inhabitants of Israel there with no mercy is still the God of today. Whole villages men, women, children, and animals were completely wiped out. Think about it, if we were watching that all play out on the news we would be horrified. If we had left ourselves open to persuasion we would be questioning our belief. We don't get to take the parts of God we like believe in that and toss the rest out. And does anyone really think that God cares what a bunch of men wrote down on a piece of paper and called it war crimes. God is not going to do his thing according to our laws. This is a very serious thing here, we as christians need to truly understand who God is and what He is capable. We have to stand firm with Him regardless of how He decides to deal with the enemy and those that follow him. Read Revelation and notice there will not be a lot of the inhabitants of this earth left standing. If we can't get through this very small piece of it without questioning all of it, how are we ever going to get through the rest. This thing is heating up, God is on the war path and He is not happy. What really scares me with christians getting into all this human reasoning is not during the war. If you read scripture the lines are drawn the sides are clear. What happens in the time of peace? How many will fall into confusion during this false peace? If we do not know God well enough to know what He is doing now, how much more vulnerable are we to a leader that ushers in peace. This is what it means to give it all to Our Creator. Everything, our reasoning, our common sense, our intellect, and He will replace it with His. God told us in scripture what He would do to the enemies of His people He never once said He would do it according to what we found to be acceptable. To even think that is no different than saying we know better. I'm sorry to vent here also but I have been watching so many christians go off in this direction and I want to say no it only leads to death, come back.
