(KJV) For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. (ESV) So Long as we are being sanctified, we remain perfected By His imputed righteousness. So long as we are growing In Christ we remain in his will. Peter writes: For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. (2 Peter 1:8-9) So the question is, is your faith being sanctified? Are you growing in the faith or are you stuck in limbo and complacency? This is why God hates complacency so much and will spue out those who are living in lukewarmness. This is why we must hunger and thirst for righteousness. This why we must Grow into the fulness of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (Eph. 4:13) The less of "ME" and the MORE OF "HIM" that is in me, the more we reach the measure and stature of Christ. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
