We'll it's like a octopus, which has a central brain with 8 sub brains for each leg that can react independently or from the central brain collectively.

Um, how can a tentacle have a will distinct from the central brain?

"Not my will Father but thy will be done."

Trinitarian theology is not about a three headed beast or an octopus with tentacles that can think but of three individuals of eternal divine Spirit who are the one God.

Trinitarian Theology as evident in the scriptures:

God the Word (who becomes Jesus in the incarnation) ← John 1:1 / John 1:14

speaks to God the Authority (who becomes the Father of the incarnation) ← Hebrews 1:5 / Hebrews 10:5 / John 1:14

"Let us make humanity in our image and after our likeness" (Genesis 1:26). ← Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) thus Jesus created the first Adam to look like the last Adam was going to look like in the fullness of time when the Father created Jesus' body.

Distinct individuals from the very beginning.

The Holy Spirit who is God (Acts 5:3-4) and who has authority / individuality (Acts 13:2) was also present in the beginning (Genesis 1:2). ← who must search the mind of the Father (1 Corinthians 2:10) as Jesus must (Mark 13:32 / Acts 1:7)

Eternal divine triune coexistence.

There is also the distinction of what each accomplishes individually:

  • Jesus as Creator (Isaiah 44:24 / John 1:3 / Colossians  1:16)
  • The Father and the Creator of Jesus' body (humanity) ← John 1:14 / Hebrews 10:5 / Hebrews 1:5)
  • The Spirit as the Author of the Bible  (2 Peter 1:20-21)

which the other two did not do.

Each tentacle has a brain, that is God's workmenship I appreciate such wonders.

Surely I'm not disputing the claim but isn't the thread about the Lord's prayer?

Hmm. Never knew octopuses  had mini brains in their tentacle till today. Wow.

But it doesn't apply to the Trinity as I demonstrated at length.

Looks like JohnD quoting the Bible.

If you have problems with that...

The whole Humanity isn't in the likeness and image of God.

Genesis 5:3

When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth.

You cannot disprove creation by citing procreation.
