The Exalted Status Of God’s Word

There is something so satisfying about knowing that nothing compares with God’s Word.

It is not just the record of religious history but actually originated in the mind of God.

2 Tim.  3:16–All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.”

Teaching=instructing, educating, and assisting discovery 
Rebuking=censure severely, lecture 

Correcting=making reparations, amending, discipling, enforcing obedience 

Training=developing behavior by instruction, refining

God’s Word has all these qualities.

Besides that it is forever.

Ps. 119:89–“Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.”

Ps. 138:2–“Thou hast magnified thy Word above all thy name.”

The Word of God is foundational and permanent in every one who is a believer. Praise the Lord for His excellent Word.
