Ecclesiastes 5:1 Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear

rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil.

2 Do not be rash with your mouth,
And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God.
For God is in heaven, and you on earth;
Therefore let your words be few.

3 For a dream comes through much activity,
And a fool’s voice is known by his many words.

James 2:16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,

with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of

firstfruits of His creatures.

19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness

the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing

his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a

forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives

his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.

Isaiah 50:4 The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak

a word in season to him that is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens mine ear

to hear as the learned.

5 The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair:

I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face

like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary

let him come near to me.

9 Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as

a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

10 Who is among you that fears the Lord, that obeys the voice of his servant, that walks in darkness,

and has no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with

Him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even

at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,

or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written:For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers,

nor things present nor things to come,

39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from

the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;

but my kindness shall not depart from thee,

neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,

saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you,

My peace I give to you;

not as the world gives do I give to you.

Let not your heart be troubled,

neither let it be afraid.

Psalm 44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God,
Our fathers have told us,
The deeds You did in their days,
In the days of old:

2 Timothy 2:1 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses,

commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Mt. 7:6 Do not give what is holy to the dogs;

nor cast your pearls before swine,

lest they trample them under their feet,

and turn and tear you in pieces.

Proverbs 23:9 Do not speak in the hearing of a fool,
For he will despise the wisdom of your words.

Isaiah 65:1 I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name.
2 I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people,
Who walk in a way that is not good,
According to their own thoughts;

Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel.

For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”  Isaiah 54

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

18 But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:

Their sound has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world. Isaiah Psalm 19:4

19 But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says:

I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation,
I will move you to anger by a foolish nation. Deut. 32:21

20 But Isaiah is very bold and says:

“I was found by those who did not seek Me;
I was manifested to those who did not ask for Me. Isaiah 65

21 But to Israel he says:

All day long I have stretched out My hands
To a disobedient and contrary people.

Matthew 12:

15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

16 Yet He warned them not to make Him known,

17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

18 Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen,
My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased!
I will put My Spirit upon Him,
And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.
19 He will not quarrel nor cry out,
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench,
Till He sends forth justice to victory;
21 And in His name Gentiles will trust.

Isaiah 42:

1 Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
4 He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
And the coast lands shall wait for His law.

5 Thus says God the Lord,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
Who gives breath to the people on it,
And spirit to those who walk on it:
6 I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the Gentiles,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.

Proverbs 25:

6 Do not exalt yourself in the presence of the king,

and do not stand in the place of the great;

7 For it is better that he say to you, Come up here,

Than that you should be put lower in the presence

of the prince, whom your eyes have seen.

Luke 14:8-11 When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you and him come and say to you, Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place. But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, Friend, go up higher. Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says:Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

10 And:

You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

11 They will perish, but You remain;
And they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up,
And they will be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not fail.

Isaiah 34:4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved,
And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll;
All their host shall fall down
As the leaf falls from the vine,
And as fruit falling from a fig tree.

Revelation 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together;

and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
