Ezekiel 21:

1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places,

and prophesy against the land of Israel,

3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee,

and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

4 Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword

go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

5 That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath:

it shall not return any more.

Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins;

and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer,

For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble,

and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh,

and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God.

Tidings For All The Earth

Isaiah 14:

24 The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying,
Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,
And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:
25 That I will break the Assyrian in My land,
And on My mountains tread him underfoot.
Then his yoke shall be removed from them,
And his burden removed from their shoulders.
26 This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth,
And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.
27 For the Lord of hosts has purposed,
And who will annul it?
His hand is stretched out,
And who will turn it back?

The Lord's Strange Work

Isaiah 28:

21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon,

that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard

from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Ezekiel 9:

3 Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple.

And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side;

4 and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark

on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.
