Servants Of The Lord, And Leaders In The Congregation

1 Timothy 3:8-10 Servant-leaders likewise must be dignified, not double-speaking, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. Also let them first be tested—then let those who are blameless serve as servant-leaders. 

The Heavenly Sanctuary

Hebrews 9:11-13 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect Tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Boldness to draw near The Holy Place not of this creation

without fear, and a desire to serve Him, now and eternally.

Luke 1:

74 To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.

Hebrews 10:19-22 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 

To Be Pursued With a Sense Of Purpose

Acts 24:16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience

without offense toward God and men.

2 Corinthians

1:12 For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves

in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God,

and more abundantly toward you.

4:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. 

2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness

nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth 

commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart,

and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.
