Malachi 1:1 The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.

2 I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us?

Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob,

3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places;

thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them,

The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever.

5 And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The Lord will be magnified from the border of Israel.

The Lord Will Judge The Wicked At The Borders Of Israel

Ezekiel 11:

1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the Lord's house,

which looks eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom

I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief,

and give wicked counsel in this city:

3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the cauldron, and we be the flesh.

4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord;

Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh,

and this city is the cauldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.

9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers,

and will execute judgments among you.

10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

11 This city shall not be your cauldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof;

but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes,

neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

Isaiah 54:

10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;

but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall

the covenant of my peace be removed,

saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted,

behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors,

and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

12 And I will make thy windows of agates,

and thy gates of carbuncles,

and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

Isaiah 60:

18 Violence shall no longer be heard in your land,
Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders;
But you shall call your walls Salvation,
And your gates Praise.

19 The sun shall no longer be your light by day,
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light,
And your God your glory.
20 Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.
21 Also your people shall all be righteous;
They shall inherit the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.
