Just now on Foxnews they were showing the people in the  town of Safwan, newly liberated, tearing down the billboards of Saddam! The people were openly welcoming the US troops! Thank you Father for the liberation of these people. May they come to know the Savior through this war.

Trav...remember the prayer meeting in Chat? Remember what we've been praying for? We have petitioned our Lord for this very thing...to break free the bonds of these people and to give them opportunity to hear the gospel and feel the love of Jesus Christ...

Praise be to His Name!   :il:

Oh, I was thrilled to see the picture of that evil dictator coming down and the pictures of Americans shaking hands with the men of the village there in Iraq..

The rest of the world needs to see our men over there being kind and friendly to those poor people...feeding them and befriending them...

They've been through so much ...with SH...and it's time these people chose their own leader...

It was good to see the picture of Saddam coming down. The war is proceeding so smoothly.  I had to cry though, when awe&shock struck.  I could just imagine the fears of the people.  I know that I would have been terrified.  I was so hoping that we wouldn't have to do that.  Hopefully this war will be all over soon and the rebuilding of their society can begin.

Someone (was it you, Catsmeow?) mentioned about the following (but couldn't find the thread).

Who or what are Shia? Do they mean to say, "Shiite" as in "Shiite Muslims"?

I haven't heard of Shia...

If that article doesn't make a believer out of those protesters, I don't know what will!  How absolutely horrifying!

No one really believes that the United Nations is actually a benevolent organization that loves and cares for people, do they?   ???
