Talk about a Biblical principle in pictures. Your enemy is roaming around seeking whom he may devour. He is trying to devour anything God is trying to birth out in you. Literally your Faith in Gods Word which is bringing with it New Life. He also seeks to destroy you or even kill you prior to you becoming useful for God. Here you have a Snake devouring a pregnant Ewe Lamb. It reminds me of my family and I hiking near Gettysburg, PA recently. We came across a rather large snake. However his head had been crushed and his mouth and jaws were torn asunder. He literally was wounded and his head crushed. He obviously was dying of malnutrition as well as dehydration. He could no longer drink nor eat. He was as harmless as a dove. However he still threatened us as we approached him. Trying to hiss and puff up.
