Yeah, you don't hear anyone complaining about disprportionate actions on this issue, do you? Israel can win, but their leaders have to stop treating terrorist organizations like legitiimate political entities. If they would treat the terrorists like terrorists, it would all be over in less than a month. That seems to be the only explanation for Israel's actions dealing with it's enemies. When God is ready to unleash His strength upon His people, there will be no stopping them and they will completely obliterate their surrounding enemies.
