This movie, produced by Michael Landon Jr, is a must see for all Christians. Any movie that proclaims Jesus as the only one able to forgive our sins deserves the attention of Christians and we should support this and show Hollywood that movies like these are money makers. Go, spend your 6 bucks - take your family and friends.

I don't know if there was already a post about this and hadn't even heard of it until today. I rarely go to the movies and ended up seeing this and was amazed to see that this was obviously a movie made by Christians proclaiming Jesus. We don't see that enough these days, so please support this film. You won't be disappointed.

I have the dvd...and it is not about Jesus...its about a person that can supposedly eat anothers sin just before they die, there is also a lot of gratuatious violance in it so not for the faint hearted.

Yes, it is about a 'sin eater' who is blatantly proven false. In the end, Jesus is definitely glorified.

I didn't find the violence 'gratuitous' whatsoever.

I was disappointed that my husband and I were the only ones in the theatre today. Michael Landon Jr. obviously has some influence and I sure hope this isn't a 'flop'. I'd like to see more stuff by this director who isn't afraid to boldly proclaim Jesus.

How did you get it on DVD if it's not released on DVD yet?

so when that women in the dead priests appartment was ripped apart you did not class that as gratuatious violence?

Wow, that is really weird. The one that you watched is called "The Sin Eater" and the one I just saw in the theatre was called "The Last Sin Eater" and they are definitely two different movies.

The one I saw is put out by FoxFaith films. Here's a link.

and so far, the critics seem to hate it. :emot-highfive:

I'm glad you brought this to my attention and didn't just let it go by thinking I was some kind of wacko. :emot-highfive:

This should avoid confusion if there is anyone else who might have been confused by the similarities in titles.
