But Thank God Jesus Paid it! Dugmando

NO man comes to the Father except through Christ, and He was the sacrifice for our iniquities... Amen Lady C

Once you acknowledge this, that is accepting God's "gift." It is a "gift" because He gave it to a world that does not deserve it. The entire concept of what you just said is Grace and that is a gift to mankind. "not of works that any man should boast..."...we did not contribute to the formula God did to build His relationship with mankind through Jesus. Nor any thing we do will affect that act He did which was to send His Son that for anyone that belives shall not perish but have everlasting life. For someone to say "I can walk away from this gift" is claiming that they can break God's formula to build a relationship with mankind. This was done through Jesus Christ. If we believe that God is all powerful and all knowing then He wouldn't of given you salvation that you were going to reject in due time. He is not playing games with mankind and definately not with His Son. It's crazy to even think how someone can talk about someone else losing salvation when they dont even know they have theirs. It's crazy to live life thinking youre going to lose it when you may never of had it. but at the end...everyone has their own beliefs. ... 3xR0c|<stAr

Am I understanding that correctly? There actually is not formal doctrine called OSAS. OSAS is a mischaracterization of a doctrine call "perseverance of the saints" In termso f your question, it depends on what you mean by "have nothing to do with". If by that you mean that people cannot earn their salvation in any way, you would be correct.
