Praying in tongues is a very potent spiritual warfare tool. Only problem I have had is that I am not in control when it happens, so I can't pick and choose when it happens much of the time. Be careful with that. Scriptures never tell us to engage in the use of tongues to cast demons out. Scriptures tell us to do so in the name of Jesus. Obviously there is a language and cultural difference, and your focus on cessationsim, continuationism (if I got those right) is odd and different than I can remember seeing.
