And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." Dear Brothers and Sisters, I don't want to get in the middle of an argument, but I believe the Bible solves the referenced passage of scripture with relative ease through study and some scriptural background. In Genesis 3:15 we read the following words: "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." There are two "seeds" in this passage, the seed of the Woman and the seed of the Serpent. The Bible writers, under the divine revelation of the Holy Spirit, carry forward this idea through the entire Bible. The point of the Old Testament is not the nation of Israel, though they are an integral part of the story, but the point of the scripture is the "Seed."
