The instruction on self-control, from the Bible has not been given much, and it is having much affect on every avenue of our culture and society, but especially marriage. In His Love, Suzanne absolutely...Eve was deceived by the serpant, Adam disobeyed God and ate too, turned around blamed God and Eve for his disobedience and the fall happened. That's what went wrong it began way back then and has little by little chipped away until we see the lives of the families today.........The Fall... Shalom Jackie, And what are we, as Christian women, supposed to do about it? Love the Lord! have faith in the Lord, stand and speak boldly in all matters. And teach our children to do the same. Shalom Jackie, We are to walk in G-d's Holy Order for the family. That's what this thread is all about. Please show me where the Scriptures tell us women to "stand and speak boldly in all matters. And teach our children to do the same." I'm sorry, but that's not what our G-d has told us to do in these situations. We are to walk in OUR roles, as Christian women, not take men's roles, even if they are not stepping up to the plate. We STILL are responsible for obeying G-d's commands, whether our husbands are or not.

Women have much influence, and have certainly been attributed to much luring of men to the embracing of false gods. This is not my opinion, it is scriptural, and the stories are ALL THROUGH the Scriptures. So, to try to imply that women have no power, is a deception. That is why it is important for women to embrace the REAL role that was God-given to them, to work "for the good" of Christianity. Women really need to see what the influence is that they have in regard to a society. And men, need to realize the influence(godly) that they have in regard to a society. It is vital for the Christian body/family to exist. The children of today, have no idea of what guidelines they are supposed to go by. They do not understand authority any longer, because the parents do not understand nor observe godly order. It's a trickle down cycle, and it's showing greatly. Such as was mentioned in the very first post in Isaiah 3 and 4. When the godly order gets broken down, we have confusion of faces.
