I have been a case worker for 4 years for developmentally disabled adults; I left last Sept on medical leave. I am now able to work full time. My position was filled; it had to be because of the length of stay; as well as, continuity for clients My boss offered me a paid live in position for two men in my town; it was $30,000 a year, plus all of my living expenses. Leaving only my car payment and insurance. Today the rug was pulled out; they decided against it. I am so tempted to take my cell phone and paperwork and shove it in their faces and leave. I know I cant act on emotions; but oh boy!!!!!!!!! Pray for peace, tranquility, guidiance and etc. thanks Kay
Guest LCPGUY
Kay, I'm not sure how to reply, but... I wouldn't let either anger or disappointment control your thoughts or actions. It sounds like your boos had admirable and very generous intentions and that someone else got to him and convinced him to change his mind. Life is full of disappointments. We all experience them from time-to-time and will continue to do so until we're finally home. In any circumstance, always ask yourself: "What would Jesus do in this situation?" I pray that the Lord meets all your needs: Financial, emotional and health. May He bless you and keep you in His loving care. Bro John
