Has nothing to do with learning. However ignorant I may remain, I must acknoweldge truth when I see it! :o

I take it with some of the hints you've dropped your a reader????

I used to be. In what seems like another lifetime. When I was young, I would devour books faster than I could find new ones to read. When I got into the Scriptures, that took precedence and lead to looking into those things in great depth. Even to learning a little Greek and Hebrew.

I had a very dear brother in the Lord, him and I both dug deeply into things, we were like Pear and yourself, for we were a team and dear friends and brothers. I have never to this day met another man with whom I had so much in common theologically and could have discussions of such depth. Regrettably though, against my warning, he dug too deep into certain things and it destroyed him.

If you have ever read Tolkien's works, you are perhaps familiar with the Mines of Moria. The dwarves dug too deeply and released the evil, the Balrog. It ultimately destroyed them.

Such it is in life sometimes if one digs too deep, somethings are better left unknown.

I would like to get into reading again, it was good and I miss it. I have 'in effect' wasted most of the last four years and I am saddened by it. However, some has returned much faster than I thought. Even though I wasted the time, it has been good, for it allowed me to 'shed' some things and created the need to look into them again. That being said, perhaps my conclusions will very from what they had been, perhaps a new and deeper level of aletheia [truth] will come of it.

Alright, that is way beyond the scope of your inquiry :whistling:
