He has ministered in Eastern Canada (I am from Western Canada). He is an evangelist with an emphasis on miracles and healing. He is not perfect. His first wife left him for a lesbian lover (not his fault). He may have had other issues since then that have been dealt with. As far as I know, he has zeal and integrity. I don't like everything about his style and personality and disagree with some of his Word of Faith ideas. God uses imperfect vessels that are not perfect in theology. He is a man of faith and is having an impact reaching the lost and equipping the saints. When I was a pastor in the 1980s, I had his brother David in for ministry in our church. It was a positive experience. Like any ministry, we need discernment and do not have to endorse every belief or practice held by one man. The longevity of his ministry is probably a good sign. He's got a charismatic ministry . I used to see him while channel surfing - off and on - on TV when I lived in Canada. . But I found him . . .ummmm .. . like I do many televangelists , too intensive . . and self promoting . . . Though I sure he's Biblically congruent. . But I've been really not that well connected with God as of late so I couldn't tell what he wanted me to do. I'm glad to see Peter is a good man, but your right about the self promoting..
