Christ Sealing His Priests in Israel. (Rev. 7)
We have just looked at the overview of the tribulation, but before any judgments begin, the Lord Jesus has some important tasks. He sends four angels to hold back the winds of the earth. This would make for a very eerie stillness, a calm before the storm of judgments.

ECONOMIC BABYLON
The city of Babylon will not only be the center of man`s Religious System, which gets destroyed, but also the centre of commerce and finance – the Global Economy. We are now given a picture of this aspect of the city of Babylon. It is called a `prison` and `a habitation of demons.` What a terrifying prospect for those who worship the `beast.`
The Lord with `great authority` and `glory.` declares the judgments upon Babylon -`fallen, fallen,` indicating
The Deliverer
The Lord Jesus Christ, Israel`s deliverer, is now seen coming from heaven in power and great glory. He comes in full array of His majesty and authority. We are given a wonderful description of Him revealing His Holy character and great authority over all principalities and powers in the unseen and upon earth.

The call goes out for the climax of the ages when the Lord gathers the rebellious together and deals with them. The details of this event are throughout God`s word.

I have added more detail than the Feasts, however a study from God`s word does reveal -
- when the Holy Spirit was sent to establish the Body of Christ. (John 16: 13)
- when Christ comes to take His body to His throne in glory. (Rev. 3: 21)
- This time frame is called the Day of Christ, plus the specific day when Christ appears for His Body. (1 Thess. 4: 14 - 17)
- when the Lord brings judgments upon the rebellious throughout the tribulation. (Joel 2 & 3, Rev. 8 & 9 ff)

God`s Word: God`s Timing.
`I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and lead you out.....You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you...
You will come up against my people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.` (Ez. 38: 4, 9 & 16)

It is only by God`s revelation of His Son in His word that we can ever comprehend in part the Father. The Son clearly reveals the heart of His Father by His own character. And we are privileged to not only read of Him but to know Him in our own hearts.

Many years passed as Christ by His Holy Spirit worked with His Jewish Apostles. They healed the sick and challenged the people of Israel concerning who Jesus was. However they still had a Jewish understanding of God`s purposes.
Thus it was that the Holy Spirit gave Peter a vision concerning what was clean or unclean. This lead to Peter visiting Cornelius, a Gentile and saw that after they believed the Holy Spirit fell on them too. (Acts 10)

When God made the nations of the world, He also made a nation to rule over them. That is Israel. They learnt of God`s righteous rule and were to teach the other nations this also.
`When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Israel from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion. ` (Ps. 114: 1 & 2)
God establish the people of Israel in their own land with a king of His choosing, king David. God said -

The predominant aim of Revelation is the setting forth the splendours of the Son of Man, & to reveal His glorious person. There are four visions of the Son of Man as He is known in the heavenly realm & each vision in turn carries through to completion one aspect of the fourfold ministry of Christ which He exercised when on earth.
