The White Horseman - Britain & USA.

`Behold a white horse. And he who sat on it had a bow and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.` (Rev. 6: 2)

This is a pictorial illustration of the first great power to emerge in modern times, the British Empire. They were ruled by a monarch, (crown) and conquered about a quarter of the world. Later it became the British Commonwealth and America. They work together in the world hoping to bring peace and prosperity through a Global Government, but their power is used to control and dominate.

After the end of WW2 with much devastation in Europe and Britain, the allies (Britain and America) came together to rebuild the international economic system. They established international Forums and institutions.

World Forums. (Political)

Britain and America formed the Group of 7 (G 7) and later the Group of 20, (G 20). The G7 consists of the main industrial powers of the world - Great Britain, Canada, America, France, Italy, Germany and Japan. The G 20 includes most of the wealthy nations of the world.

These Forums would oversee the international institutions set up to bring about   economic cooperation and development that they hoped would lead to a more stable and prosperous global economy.

The institutions were the IMF (International Monetary Forum) and the World Bank with rules and procedures for the new monetary order, for commercial and financial relations.

We can see over the years that for some this system has brought prosperity but for many others the system has brought poverty.

The International Monetary Fund. (IMF) (Economic)

The International Monetary Fund`s primary purpose is to ensure the stability of the international monetary system - the system of exchange rates and international payments that enables countries (and their citizens) to transact with each other.

The IMF has a legal tender that countries can use - the Special Drawing Rights, (SDR`s) These enable the bearer to exchange the note (unit of account) for any in the IMF`s basket of 5 currencies - Dollar, Euro, Pound, Yen, & Renminbi.

The framework for the Global Government, Political and economic, has been set.

Yes, your example seems to fit the template, Marilyn.

I like the way the 4 living creatures each in their turn introduce the 4 horsemen. Just for my own interest I have paired them up in order, lion-like with white horse & rider, ox-like with bright red horse & rider, man-face with black horse & rider, eagle-flight with pale horse & rider.

Rev 4:6-7 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: (7) the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight.

Rev 6:1-8 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!" (2) And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer. (3) When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" (4) And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword. (5) When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. (6) And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!" (7) When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" (8) And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

Hi Michael,

Interesting comments there. May I suggest what I have thought.

The 4 living creatures before God`s throne, are I believe the 4 different ministries of the Lord.

1.  Lion. (Sovereign) therefore over the ruler of the world. (Political)

2. Ox. (Sacrifice) therefore brings Peace not war.

3. Man. (the 2nd Adam) therefore has authority over the Economic aspect of Government. (dominion)

4. Eagle. (Divinity) therefore has authority over demons, Hell and death.

Yes indeed. Agreed, and thus the 4 Living Creatures have a connection with the Conquest, Conflict, Commodities, & Carnage themes assigned respectively to the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

interesting that all these things that were implemented are now toxic

Well, all that is revealed with the opening of the 7 Seals pertains to the natural wickedness of unregenerate humanity and God's Righteous Judgments upon it. This theme is a thread that runs right through the Bible, and many passages in Revelation cross-reference with OT passages. Only the Lamb that was Slain is worthy to open the seals, such is the polarisation between righteousness and unrighteousness. We join with the Heavenly Host in proclaiming "Worthy is the Lamb..."
