Yes, I agree that the peace negotiator, (A/C) is waiting in the wings, however when he does emerge on the world stage it will take over 3 years for him to rise in world status. He has to be asked to the great forums, G 7 & G 20 and there deceive the nation`s leaders. (Dan. 8: 23 - 25,  & Rev. 13: 5) 

Revelation 13: 5 tells us that this person will only rule for 42 months/3 1/2 years. That then is the time of the final gentile Global Government. It is when the Islamic nations in the Middle east combine together under this person`s leadership. They, Islam will then rule over the other nations and thus be the `head/leader` of the world.

So you see we have about 3 1/2 years for the A/C to arise then 3 1/2 years for him to rule the world as leader of Islam.
