Babylon. Babylon the Fallen.
Babylon the Fallen.
The religious part of the city of Babylon deceives the nations with its demonic philosophy. The people of the earth lose their common sense and become confused in their mind.
`Babylon was a golden cup in the Lord`s hand, that made all the earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore, the nations are deranged. ` (Jer. 51: 7)
`The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup….and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.` (Rev. 17: 4 & 2)
In the middle of the tribulation the 10 kings give their rule to the Global Leader and decide to do away with the world religion and just worship the Leader. (Rev. 17: 16, 13: 14 & 15)
The economic aspect of the Global Government then comes to a head with people having to take a mark of allegiance to the leader if they want to buy and sell. (Rev. 13: 16 & 17)
Near the end of the tribulation God brings judgment upon the great city and in one hour it will burn to the ground.
`Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come. ` (Rev. 18: 10)
All who became rich by this city will weep and mourn over it. They shall stand afar off and see the smoke of the city burning.
`The merchants…who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,….Every ship master, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, “What is like this great city?”
`They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping, and wailing, and saying, “Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth!
For in one hour she is made desolate. ` (Rev. 18: 15 – 19)
