Salvation The Treasure In The Field

existential mabel

Salvation is more pressing as each day goes by...it is so hard to have that conversation to a world that is lost to the world and its temporal systems.

anyway...why is Salvation so important far more important than anything all the theology and all the verbal sparring of ideas wont get us to heaven. the single only thing is Believing in what Jesus Christ did for us ALL. as in Everyone.

Quote

John 3:15-18 King James Version

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

recently i realised that (and i am one of those) that people miss the full message of John or cant believe its that simple!

3:15 basically all you need to do to get Saved or Born again is to believe in Jesus Christ and what he did for us (1 Cor 15:1-4)

3:16 repeats this again which confirms and strengthens the message of belief

3:16 this is Key: For God so loved the world,... notice the word loved is used past tense...what this means is that Jesus Christ has made a way for people to get Saved. He died once and for all time. Jesus Christ did his part now we are to do our part to accept the free gift of Salvation, by Grace through Faith.

3:18 tells us what will happen to those that refuse to believe in Jesus Christ who are in effect sticking two fingers up to God! and God being the just and merciful God that he is allows us our free will to choose. God doesnt make anyone believe. its down to each individual.

NB God doesn't send people to hell, people by rejecting God are in effect choosing hell. that is terrible you say and unfair. But God sent his only Begotten Son to die for us all. he saved us from eternity in hell.

Hi mabel,

I`m on your blog, hey what a difference.

What a great message, so clear and so needed in today`s busy, noisy and complicated world. Just the simple truth as you have written.

So well done.

Marilyn.

"Jesus Christ did his part now we are to do our part to accept the free gift of Salvation, by Grace through Faith."

Luke 14:27 "...whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. ... 28 ...count the cost... 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple."

i still have much to learn and do struggle with understanding things but the Holy Spirit really helped me to do this blogg

i would like to add that its the blood of Jesus Christ that is important.

once we believe WHAT Jesus Christ did for us. we are sealed with the promise of the Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:13. Romans 10:9-13 is another good scripture.

Jesus Christ died  and shed his precious blood for all of our sins, yes all of our sins past present and future sins. the power is in the blood of Christ. We are 'under the blood' the stain of our sin is now covered by the blood of Christ. Jesus Christ has redeemed us he has paid in full for all of our sins. put simply (well hopefully!) this now means that God no longer sees us as sinner's who are under his wrath...God now sees imputed righteousness because of what Christ did for us. we are now children of God.

its the blood that has the power to save not good works, good character, generous donator of time and money etc.  although all of these things are good to do.anyone who thinks that they will automatically (if indeed they give much thought to that) go to heaven when they die is gravely mistaken.

good works are good to do, but not because we mistakenly think it will get us to heaven. good works once we are saved are the fruit of salvation. we now do good works because of What Jesus Christ did for us. and our time remaining here is to go and spread the gospel of salvation which is what i am attempting to do here..not easy! as i am not naturally one for 'sticking my neck out! '

anyone outside of this God sees as the child of sin aka the devil. and therefore NOT children of God.

Disclaimer: i dont imagine i will cover all the salient points but i am doing my best!

oh and i havent done a blogg before ...all i want to do is to get this message out here! so excuse the rustic quality!

Oh so needed mabel, to know the blood of Jesus. As you so rightly have said  - there is power in the blood of Jesus. Such power that can wash away my sin, is absolutely astounding.

You certainly have a heart and anointing to speak this great truth.

its been a journey from 2020 lock-down and continuing..when everyone, the church included, ran to the hills and i was left all alone. i had been 'watching this event, corona virus, forming back in 2019' i had no idea how Big it would be...i am constantly reminded of this scripture

AMP
And at the seventh time the servant said, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is coming up from the sea.” And Elijah said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot and go down, so that the rain shower does not stop you.’”

it gave me the heads up you could say, i was able to keep a 'fairly clear head'
