  1. That`s true mabel. God gave people the skills & abilities to live in the world. I don`t think it would have been such a hostile environment. Along the rivers Tigris & Euphrates, (Gen. 2: 10 - 14) would have been very fertile land for growing crops & farming animals. Many plants were good for food & trees bearing fruits.

  3. Hi mabel, Yes my father said our mind can only take as much as the `seat` can endure. And there is so much error out there as you say. I also keep close to God`s word & that`s great that you do too. A key for me, is - `Does it point to Jesus? Do I learn more of Him or is it all about US. As to having an academic mind, well the world has an overload of those, whereas I believe it is God`s Holy Spirit that illuminates His word to us. `Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness," & again, " The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile." (1 Cor. 3: 19 & 20) Marilyn.
