George,
I'm guessing everyone's "just about" running out of those stock-piled canned goods by now  ...at least a lot of food got donated to organizations that needed it!! :cheesy:
Thanks, Irwin, for the sweet words..and completely away from any subject whatsoever: could you explain your little icon pic? I can't figure out what it is-can you tell me?
HEE
"Communicating with the dead?"--the question first posted:
to that question, I say NO. I do not believe you can communicate with the dead. period. To the other question:"appear in certain circumstances/possible to feel spirits?"
I think in some cases, God has sent 'visions' (if you will) to comfort those who are left. I have heard stories from those who truly believe that at the moment / close to the time where their loved ones died, they did "see" them.
Personal reasons for believing in God: All I have to do is look around at nature-the very essence of it all~~from a sand grain or a snowflake to the mighty oaks, oceans, mountains~~it all is so overwhelmingly breath-taking~the sheer vastness of the universe...undisputably AWESOME!!!
Thanks, Lana... I think it all comes down to this: there just "seems" to be more and more people who are not "in Christ" and I am feeling a sense of urgency (well, 'almost felt'a sense of urgency)-I have been praying about it. I know God will never steer me wrong!!
["How important is Jesus to you?"] He's the reason why I'm still alive today: otherwise, none of us would be saved and what would be the point of being here?
Bob, All this "last days" talk is scaring me! I AM saved and I believe Jesus saved us-I KNOW he did! Still, despite ALL, I still get scared when I read of / hear of "last day" signs...is this normal? I mean, it is such a scary thing to me..any thoughts?
Are you just wanting comments here? Sometimes just posting articles leaves me with the question of "what do I do with it?"...
I think anyone who has lost a limb or who have been paralyzed from stroke, nerve damage has a ray of hope. I think God allows humans to discover things all the time. I see this as a positive!
Hello all, I am struggling-BIG TIME!...some have tried to "guess" at why I've said that phrase before--funny, I am ready to say why now. First, though, in one of the threads, someone said "Sin is always the cause of our pain and anguish."
