Congratulations!! God has you where He wants you to be. He WILL guide you if you consistently seek to follow Him. You will have some setbacks, but He loves you and will keep pursuing His best for you. Nebula gave you some great and succinct advice. An absolutely fabulous book for someone in your situtaion is "Thy Will Be Done On Earth: Understanding God's Will For You" by Robert Lloyd Russell. It is by far the best book on the subject of the will of God and Christian decision-making I have ever read. It is simple, easy-to-understand, and yet it is profound. I have been a Christian for decades and I plan on re-reading this book at least once a year. It is a truly great book for ALL Christians to read regularly. I know you would greatly appreciate the thoughts and Biblical references the author provides. I'll pray that you obtain a copy!

First, I should state where I am coming from. My reading emphasis is Christian life and books which present sound doctrine (based on historic Christian faith). It is very rare for me to read Christian fiction or Christian fables. (In fact, I have never read Christian fiction.) Pilgrim

The issue isn't so much Religion vs. Spirituality as it is RELIGION versus RELATIONSHIP. Does one have a real relationship with the Son of God? That is the key question! Without that relationship there is no entrance to eternal life.
