  1. Absolutely.... There is little doubt that while this may or may not be the actual prophetic "mark" I do believe it has definite potential for being one of or its direct predesessor.
  2. On the contrary Levi, I cannot see this as foolish nor contentious, just one of several mere questions. On Several occassions I have challenged you to provide reference or sitations of postings from individuals on this board that back "the doctine" and "the subsequent support of greedy, bloody, fanaticism" by the Jews" All that I am doing is trying to gain understanding of "your view." I appologize that I haven't had the opportunity to understand your position but as one that is new to this board I haven't. Somehow I don't find evidence that supports the view that God has "forgotten" a people chosen by him. "Christ fulfilled the Old Covenant with the Jews and made a New Covenant which encompasses all of mankind." By this are you implying that God eliminated his original covenant with Israel and negated everything in the Old Testament not yet fulfilled??? Is it your belief that the Church replaced Israel in future prophetic messages...a view that is clearly not supported in prophesy. Just trying to gain a little understanding here that's all.... Thanks, Tango
  3. Levi, again may I ask one of my less than intelligent questions but on what do you base your "different" view of Israel in bible prophesy??? Additionaly, I would like to reiterate that no posting upon this board to my knowledge has condoned any war or bloodshed in Israel or anywhere else in the world. However, to say that GOD doesn't care..... hmm.... mighty bold statement my friend. I find it inconceivable that there is anything taking place on this earth that God DOESN'T care about.... especially when it sets the stage for fulfillment of much that was prophesied in the Old and New Testament.... including the eventual rise of the Anti-Christ........ All I can say is I'm looking up for my redemption draweth nigh.
  4. You have such a way with words Levi...... then again, that makes it interesting... The earliest of people did not come as colonial powers but in search of a "passage" to the east, the earliest of settlers came to escape to a land to worship GOD without judgement (some still seek this today) Later ignorant people did try to settle the "new world" these were the ones who conquered, imprisoned, killed and destroyed the people(s) living here already and they MASKED their actions under a self proclaimed title of being "christian." Many were no more Christian than my car. The amazing part is that God had a plan despite the atrocities committed by these ignorant and savage individuals. That plan, I'm glad was fulfilled. America was founded in bloodshed (something I hate) but look what came up. A nation that has done MORE FOR spreading the Gospel than virtually any other nation on Earth. Now, We as a nation stand at a "defining moment" in history. On the one hand we can stand with Israel a friend to the United States or we can turn our back and do what.... Back a people filled with hate and loathing for all Jews... You tell me which is the right decision. We CANNOT ignore God's warning. If we turn against Israel we will face God's wrath as a nation. No-one needs to ignore that Israel is far from perfect but the answer is never in violation of God's word. Israel is NOT two countries, one Israel and one Palestine. The Palestinians are the ones seeking a nation from of Jews not the other. Of coarse, that's just my two cents worth...... God Bless
  5. Levi, I'm confused.... could you be more specific, I wasn't aware that anyone on this bulletin board agreed to "the doctine and the subsequent support of greedy, bloody, fanaticism" either. All that I have observed is that these people, like myself, believe that based upon the bible the Israeli people are entitled to the land that was GIVEN to them by GOD. Even here in the United States people in certain offices take an oath to protect their nation against all enemies "foreign and domestic." As I see it that is exactly what many of the people in Israel are doing. How can I sit back in self righteousness and say they are wrong for doing so. I don't necessarily agree with everything they do but one thing is clear... they have the right and obligation to protect their country when they are threatened. But again.... please let me know who at any time on this board backed some belief in this "doctine and the subsequent support of greedy, bloody, fanaticism" because as I see it no christian LIKES bloodshed or greed or fanaticism. Then again, some people have different views of what constitutes fanaticism. Some believe that all people are fanatics if they accept a literal translation and belief in the bible.... imagine that...
  6. Levi, Just curious as to the biblical foundation for such strong disdain of the Israeli people..... Just curious?
