  1. Without a doubt this is only one of many factories. This is what the palestinians voted for. The majority of them would welcome a war if they thought they could win and get their land back.
  2. And how much would you care to bet that there are "students" here from nearly all of the countries that have declaired the U.S. as an enemy? I too find the number of muslim immigrants disturbing. It appears as though our govenment is making "concessions" to middle eastern countries in spite of all the anti-American speach we've been hearing. Even the brainiacs at our illustrious "think tanks" didn't think far enough ahead to prevent our country from becomming "addicted" to middle eastern oil. Of the thousands of people we elect and pay to run this country you would think they would have given this scenario some form of consideration back in the 70s'. I guess watching too many episodes of "Dallas" had them thinking we had plenty oil of our own.
  3. If Bush vetos any bill meant to stop the port deal he may find himself looking at impeachment. Some democrats have been pushing for this, over the wire tapping thing, and this may be reason enough for for more to support his removal on these grounds.
  4. I am glad I am not alone in thinking that Gays, couples or otherways should not be allowed to adopt or even foster children. However we are in the minority it seems. I votes in the poll that is included with the article and it apears that the majority think they SHOULD be allowed to adopt. Sadly, its a catch 22. If we somehow managed to outlaw abortions there would a great abundance of children without homes.
  5. These days I am not so sure about Bushs' faith and how well he represents Christ, but untill it can be shown that someone was unfairly prosecuted or had to deal with repercussions due to being wire tapped, I would prefer not to hear about it. I can't say I agree with the way the wire taps have been handled but I don't think its worth impeaching anyone over. Bush was only taking the heat for someone else on that and I doubt that he had blessed such activities until they were out in the open. Its just another patisan attack by blowing everything out of proportion. Just look at the stink they are making about Cheney and his hunting accident. As if they were required by law to inform the public of this event within a specific time frame. They certainly could have handled it better, but I personally don't believe this had to be public knowledge, yet there are people that insist on knowing what they had for breakfast. Its just a bunch of haters with a new target for their agression.
  6. Dead or alive, as long as he is captured.
  7. Like they need an excuse. This sounds like the Islam I have read about.
  8. I hope they win and have this sale cancelled. Its not an issue of who is "responsible" but of who is physically running security. Thats all we need to do is to give the terrorists a back door to smuggle weapons, among things, into our country.
  9. Its all very confusing. I can't tell who the good guys are, if any. The militant Islamists fighting against the Muslim courts? I don't get it.
  10. You have to wonder how this kind of information keeps finding its way to the press. Its one thing to have the enemy aware that your making plans, and another to give them a timeframe or date on which it is most likely to occur.
  11. This smacks of the neigborhood bullys' big brother comming on scene defending his right to terrorise the neighborhood children. Giving China all the more reason to defend Irans' decissions, even those regarding nuclear weapons.
  12. American scientists fighting back against creationism, intelligent design and other theories that seek to deny or downgrade the importance of evolution have recruited unlikely allies -- the clergy. READ THE ARTICLE
  13. Ooops. Yeah, we shouldn't discount Magog either.
  14. This is true. No offence meant, but the same could be said of people who advocate "If you choose to live a gay lifestyle then do it out in the open". Whether its in the open or behind closed doors, homosexuality is still a sin. I don't think we need to encourage homosexuals to be more open about it than they already are. So open, in fact, that they are perceived as "forcing their lifestyle down my throat". It's for the best I'm sure. Besides, aren't we told to turn away from sin? We may not be required to stone them but we surely are told to rebuke sin and turn away from it. No matter who the person is we should not accept those who "choose" to live a life contrary to the word. Though it is natural for us to sin we should not choose to make a habit of it.
  15. Who didn't see this comming? And where are the news articles about what the rest of the world has to say about Russia selling arms to Hamas? Huh? Indeed Gog is consolidating its power base and building up for a confontation destined to fail. There will be great glory to God when this event has taken place. Mankind will again have irrefutable proof that the word of God has been with us from the beginning.
  16. At this point I cannot say I am against this. Shameful, I know, but they need a dose of their own medicine.
  17. Why then aren't there muslims protesting Jesus cartoons? If Jesus and Mohammed are both prophets then why do you treat Mohammed as more important?
  18. Georgia is majority Christian with an 11% Muslim population, so it seems feasable that they could allow this to happen.
  19. I saw on the news (Christian news) yesterday that Iran is training suicide bombers. Its worse than if they simply got a list of volunteers to do it. Iran is training these particular bombers for Israel they claim, as if that is ok. This information has gotten next to no media coverage.
  20. I think the whole idea of letting any Arab company own something as vital as our sea ports is insane. Since the creation of the Homeland Security branch they have done studies on the weak spot in our infrastructure and found that all of our ports were easy targets, and now they wan't to sell them to supporters of terrorism? How can anyone think this is a good idea? I don't care how many commitees you apoint or how many risk accessments you do, this would be a major mistake. This sale would make as much sense as buying a missile defense system from China or Russia.
  21. I'm with ya here. If they want nuclear weapons so bad, air mail a couple to them.
