  1. I find the Scripture is crystal clear on the matter. Our Lord Jesus Christ didn't mince words, He used words like "everlasting fire, everlasting punishment, eternal damnation."
    Who am I going to believe? Christ!

    As has been mentioned, it's the same Greek word used for "eternal & everlasting" when Heaven and Hell are mentioned!

    Is God Love? Yes! - He loved us so much, He shed His blood for our sins, died on the cross, 3 days later resurrected to be seen by over 500 people for a period of 40 days, and now He sits at the right hand of the Father! Now THAT'S LOVE!

    Can there be love without justice? No. Heaven and Hell are man's ultimate eternal destination, and without Christ upon death, Hell is the destination, followed a short time later by the eternal Lake of Fire, after God's final judgement on each and every individual that did not repent, and believe on Him.
    Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

    Revelation 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the Lake of Fire.

    In my love for Him, I regularly street preach/teach eternity in Hell, and eternity in Heaven. No matter how folks spin it, this matter is "eternally" settled for this man, and by the Word of God whose context is clear.
    We can see this in the following examples. Please consider them in the "context" in which our Lord spoke them:


    Matthew 25:41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

    Matthew 25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

    Mark 3:29  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

    Mark 9:42-49  And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. (43) And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: (44) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (45) And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: (46) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (47) And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: (48) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

    Revelation 14:9-12  And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

    As previously mentioned, even in the Old Testament, Daniel 12:2 uses the same word "everlasting" in both everlasting life, and everlasting contempt!

    Daniel 12:2  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

    Fiction.
    How any can read all "that" into two verses found in Gen 1:1-2 is truly incredible.
    The "real" Adam, and the only Adam in Genesis was not mentioned or created until verses 26-27:
    Gen 1:26-27  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  (27)  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

    Genesis chapter 2 gives us a few more specifics as to how God created the first couple.

    Honestly, The "Dake Study bible" is on my shelf only because of a handful of people some 35ish years ago recommended it. Upon reading many of "his notes," I found it to be a hodgepodge of truth and error combined, and much of that "error" quite heretical. Not recommended at all. There is no "Pre Adamic Race" as he, or anyone else like him, has taught. Along with so much more confusion through number of "Dake's" personal beliefs that are quite anti-biblical. Dake's also believes there is "9" in the Trinity instead of "3."

    The portion brought up on here on the "Pre-Adamic World" he briefly touched on:
    "...Dake spoke of a gap theory that went further than many who believe of a gap taking place in Gen.1 to v.2. He claimed Jesus himself taught about a Pre-Adamic race (in the context of Matthew 13:35). Dake said that the expression from the “foundation of the world” should be translated “from the overthrow of the world” meaning literally the overthrow of the Pre-Adamic race.
    Whether there is a gap or not does not in any way prove there was a pre-adamic race. The only pre-Adam beings existing were the various angels. Job identifies them as watching God lay the foundations of Earth (Job 38:2-7)."

  4. Hey Folks, Dropping in a little late to comment on Omega's graduation into eternity with our King, Jesus Christ.

    First and foremost, my condolences to any family members of his who have been mentioned that read here from time to time.
    I hope his memorial goes well, and gives thought to any who may not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and  Savior.

    I appreciated Omega over the years with his genuine fairness as a Mod, cleaning up off topic subjects with some regularity, passing on minor infractions as he looked to bring balance to the Worthy Boards when problems would come up.

    He enjoyed photography, (something I enjoy, and our Brother taught me a few tips) art, remodeling, and had a sense of humor that he would occasionally inject along the way.
    Looking forward to seeing him again one day soon enough on the other side of eternity in heaven!  :)

    We as a family were praying you would see the sin of fornication, and repent of it. We're so glad you have!
    The school of hard knocks can be a difficult one, albeit, one we can learn from.

    God, on the other hand, has given us many examples of people in the Bible with both their failings and triumphs for our edification too.
    As we grow, it's best to learn from their victories as well as their failings so we have an idea of what to do or not to do in various circumstances:

    1Cor 10:11  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: (examples) and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

    As "temptations" come, and they will come, lean on God to show you the way out! He will always have a door out to "make a way to escape." Grab the door and in His strength, leave. There may not be a "door #2!"

    1Cor 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

    Keep God as your "first" love, and continue to renew your mind with His Truths from the Bible!

    Mar 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

    Some parents could learn a few things on protecting their young by watching these birds!!!

    Our President has no interest in doing so, and is looking to "decriminalize" it even further here, and across the world.     Along with that, please understand, God ONLY wants Christians marrying Christians. When they don't, nothing but problems follow.
    I've seen this many times over the years, the Christian often "thinks" they will win the unbeliever over to Christ and goes on to marry an unbeliever going against God's clear will on the matter. While they "may be" the one out of a thousand that do win one over, they were clearly sinning themselves when they knew what the Lord had to say on the matter.

    The verse you brought up speaks to one being within the bounds of matrimony. If as a married Christian, you were to divorce your wife, and marry another, you commit adultery. And any that marries the previously divorced wife, commits adultery with her, as she was previously married.

    Luke 16:18  Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

    God, as you already knew, sees fornication as sin too, and you have lost the virginity that should have been saved until marriage.
    You had fornicated, repented of this sin towards God, and been forgiven. Stay washed, sanctified and grow in Jesus Christ!

    God created sex, and He only meant for it to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage, between one man, and one woman.
    Satan has always hated this, and given a multitude of sinful ideas as an attempt to destroy something God created to be beautiful, while bringing forth children!

    Genesis 1:27-28  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created He them. (28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

    Jesus Christ spoke towards the same in the N/T:

    Matthew 19:4-6  And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, (5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? (6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

    We have all sinned against God, and can only be forgiven by repenting of our sins towards Jesus Christ and Him alone! He alone is the only way to heaven, he alone gave the ultimate gift of His shed blood for your sins, His one time death and Resurrection for you!
    No one else can "pray for God to forgive me" for you, it's something you must do for yourself as an individual. Praying you would see the Truth in this!

    Acts 3:19  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

    Romans 10:8-13  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  (10)  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    One can borrow the prayer along the lines of David in the Pslams and see themselves needing forgiveness as well:

    Psalms 51:1-10  Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. (2) Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (3) For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. (4) Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (5) Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (6) Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. (7) Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (8) Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.     ALL of those "other books" have one thing in common, "WORKS!"
    And yet, our God, who is God, offers Salvation as a FREE gift towards all who would call upon Jesus Christ!

    The Bible is not a Book, but a collection of 66 Books. Written over a span of 1600 years, across 3 continents, by over 40 writers inspired by God in 3 languages yet it has one primary theme: The glory of God and Salvation of mankind and zero errors or contradictions...

    If you haven't already, along with "H" prayerfully share the Gospel with him too! Hoping and praying "Wilson" may repent, believe on Jesus Christ and be Born Again!

    My wife had a friend inform her that her lost father had a "death bed Salvation experience" as he repented and believed on our glorious Savior just prior to his death. These instances seem to be far and few between, but thank God they do happen!

    What a great assurance we have from Jesus Christ at the time of our passing from this life into the next! Better late than never, it can be "Wilson's" too!!

    Mel, we always have the blessing of being the ambassadors of Christ in any situation, including this world wide Corona one with all of our various giftings in One Body for Christ. Praying for you and all Christians towards that end.
    One focus that should never change for any, our love for God 1st and foremost.
    Be in prayer, and ask our Lord to use those Bibles to His glory that you have given in the past! 
    Like yourself, along with speaking for our Lord, I'll often supplement with good Christian tracts, pamphlets, and Bibles. Not so much now because of the fear of Corona, but still speaking for our Lord as He gives me the opportunities. In fact, because of the fear of Corona, people are listening better, thank you Jesus!

    As our hearts are before God, blessings never stop because we have temporarily ceased in something we were doing previously. 
    Think of the "changes" Paul and Silas went through as they ministered. In one instance, preaching to us Gentiles openly. In the next being beaten and tossed in jail for casting out a mocking demonic spirit out of a witch. Paul and Silas follow by singing praises to God and a miraculous earthquake follows, and God sets them free.
    Prior to them walking out of the prison, they preach the Gospel to the jailer, both he and his household go on to be Saved as a result of this!
    I can honestly imagine, Paul and Silis would have much rather been preaching in the open peaceably, rather than the beatings followed by jail for well doing. But look at what the outcome was! Acts 16:16-40

    Be in prayer as a godly sower for His Word to be revealed to those you have already sown God's Bibles to. I'll be in prayer for this too. Thanks for your strong desire to continue to see Christ revealed through His Word.
    And when this does let up, that God would continue to present opportunities for you as you sow the Word of God towards others. The same Word of God that Saved you, me, and every Born Again Christian!

    Various Blessings for all our Savior spoke of:

(8) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  (9)  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  10) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (11) Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. (12) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (13) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (14) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  (15)  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. (16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
