  1. I find the Scripture is crystal clear on the matter. Our Lord Jesus Christ didn't mince words, He used words like "everlasting fire, everlasting punishment, eternal damnation." Who am I going to believe? Christ! As has been mentioned, it's the same Greek word used for "eternal & everlasting" when Heaven and Hell are mentioned! Eternal:G166 aiōnios ahee-o'-nee-os From G165; perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well): - eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began). Is God Love? Yes! - He loved us so much, He shed His blood for our sins, died on the cross, 3 days later resurrected to be seen by over 500 people for a period of 40 days, and now He sits at the right hand of the Father! Now THAT'S LOVE! Can there be love without justice? No. Heaven and Hell are man's ultimate eternal destination, and without Christ upon death, Hell is the destination, followed a short time later by the eternal Lake of Fire, after God's final judgement on each and every individual that did not repent, and believe on Him. Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the Lake of Fire. In my love for Him, I regularly street preach/teach eternity in Hell, and eternity in Heaven. No matter how folks spin it, this matter is "eternally" settled for this man, and by the Word of God whose context is clear. We can see this in the following examples. Please consider them in the "context" in which our Lord spoke them: Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Mark 9:42-49 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. (43) And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: (44) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (45) And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: (46) Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. As previously mentioned, even in the Old Testament, Daniel 12:2 uses the same word "everlasting" in both everlasting life, and everlasting contempt! Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Everlasting: H5769 ‛ôlâm ‛ôlâm o-lawm', o-lawm' From H5956; properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: - always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end). Compare H5331, H5703. May any in Christ be looking forward to being on this side of eternal life in the not too distant future! Reach out, and look to point others in this direction also! 1 John 5:11-13 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.   3. On the original post question: "Pre-Adamic World: Fact or Fiction" Fiction. How any can read all "that" into two verses found in Gen 1:1-2 is truly incredible. The "real" Adam, and the only Adam in Genesis was not mentioned or created until verses 26-27: Gen 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis chapter 2 gives us a few more specifics as to how God created the first couple. Honestly, The "Dake Study bible" is on my shelf only because of a handful of people some 35ish years ago recommended it. Upon reading many of "his notes," I found it to be a hodgepodge of truth and error combined, and much of that "error" quite heretical. Not recommended at all. There is no "Pre Adamic Race" as he, or anyone else like him, has taught. Along with so much more confusion through number of "Dake's" personal beliefs that are quite anti-biblical. Dake's also believes there is "9" in the Trinity instead of "3." This Messianic Brother in Christ had quite a bit to say on Finis Dake and his writings. http://www.letusreason.org/Pent74.htm The portion brought up on here on the "Pre-Adamic World" he briefly touched on: "...Dake spoke of a gap theory that went further than many who believe of a gap taking place in Gen.1 to v.2. Dake said that the expression from the “foundation of the world” should be translated “from the overthrow of the world” meaning literally the overthrow of the Pre-Adamic race. Whether there is a gap or not does not in any way prove there was a pre-adamic race. The only pre-Adam beings existing were the various angels. Job identifies them as watching God lay the foundations of Earth (Job 38:2-7)."
  4. Hey Folks, Dropping in a little late to comment on Omega's graduation into eternity with our King, Jesus Christ. First and foremost, my condolences to any family members of his who have been mentioned that read here from time to time. I hope his memorial goes well, and gives thought to any who may not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I appreciated Omega over the years with his genuine fairness as a Mod, cleaning up off topic subjects with some regularity, passing on minor infractions as he looked to bring balance to the Worthy Boards when problems would come up. He enjoyed photography, (something I enjoy, and our Brother taught me a few tips) art, remodeling, and had a sense of humor that he would occasionally inject along the way. Looking forward to seeing him again one day soon enough on the other side of eternity in heaven! These are a few photos of Omega's work that he posted here at Worthy over the years that I had saved.   5. Yes, there has been a silent "P" for years now, for pedophilia. A few of them had apparently been in jail for pedophilia, had served their time, and were singing in this immoral debauchery.
  6. A lot of great suggestions given here by others! We as a family were praying you would see the sin of fornication, and repent of it. We're so glad you have! The school of hard knocks can be a difficult one, albeit, one we can learn from. God, on the other hand, has given us many examples of people in the Bible with both their failings and triumphs for our edification too. As we grow, it's best to learn from their victories as well as their failings so we have an idea of what to do or not to do in various circumstances: 1Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: (examples) and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. As "temptations" come, and they will come, lean on God to show you the way out! He will always have a door out to "make a way to escape." Grab the door and in His strength, leave. There may not be a "door #2!" 1Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Keep God as your "first" love, and continue to renew your mind with His Truths from the Bible! Mar 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 1Pet 2:2-3 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: (3) If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

  8. Our President has no interest in doing so, and is looking to "decriminalize" it even further here, and across the world. I'm aware of one nation that still understands it's "sin" and will not be changing their laws. While not condoning their execution or imprisonment, it should never be looked upon as normal or them being "married" as God will never see it as such.   9. Your free to marry another Christian. As a forgiven fellow Christian, if you were date in the future, don't give Satan opportunities, look to stay out in the open, or be with friends and such. Along with that, please understand, God ONLY wants Christians marrying Christians. When they don't, nothing but problems follow. I've seen this many times over the years, the Christian often "thinks" they will win the unbeliever over to Christ and goes on to marry an unbeliever going against God's clear will on the matter. While they "may be" the one out of a thousand that do win one over, they were clearly sinning themselves when they knew what the Lord had to say on the matter. 2Co 6:14-16 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? (16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  10. The verse you brought up speaks to one being within the bounds of matrimony. If as a married Christian, you were to divorce your wife, and marry another, you commit adultery. And any that marries the previously divorced wife, commits adultery with her, as she was previously married. Luke 16:18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. God, as you already knew, sees fornication as sin too, and you have lost the virginity that should have been saved until marriage. You had fornicated, repented of this sin towards God, and been forgiven. God created sex, and He only meant for it to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage, between one man, and one woman. Satan has always hated this, and given a multitude of sinful ideas as an attempt to destroy something God created to be beautiful, while bringing forth children! (28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Jesus Christ spoke towards the same in the N/T: Matthew 19:4-6 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, (5) And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? (6) Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
  11. Really folks, we need as a whole to grow in Christ, His Word, and His ways especially in times like these. We need to recognize these false prophets for exactly what they are. False. The Bible is clear, when a real prophet spoke for God, what he spoke always came to pass with 100% accuracy. In the Word, when a prophet spoke one false prophesy, from that day forth he was always a false prophet. Kenneth Copeland and his ilk have been speaking false prophesies for many years, let alone their love of money and materials. I'm hopeful that most will start to see them for what they really are. Mr. Copeland on March 29th, falsely prophesied and said Covid19 was dead. "At exactly 12 noon on the 29th day of March" Quoting from a video of Kenneth Copeland's false prophesy, on March 29th, 2020: "...In the name of jesus, standing in the office of the prophet of god, I execute judgement on you Covid19, I execute judgement on you Satan, you destroyer, you killer, you get out, you boit break your power, you get off this nation, I demand judgement on you, I demand, I demand, I demand a vaccination to come immediately." "...It is over, and the United States of America is healed, and well again. It's dead "...At exactly 12 noon on the 29th day of March. Thank you jesus...” God knows their day of swift destruction is coming. I was recently reaching out to a lost man who has seen men like these, and because of their hypocrisy, the Truth is evil spoken of in our Lord's name. I assured him there would be no hypocrites in heaven, as they did not represent our Lord at all as I shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him. 2Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. Should you see yourself following these wicked men and women in our generation, please, repent, and come out from them. 2Corinthians 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

  13. Let the Comforter comfort you, that our Savior Jesus Christ has sent all Christians. Let Him teach us as we prayerfully look to be taught the Word of God as we read our Bibles. Christians (should) have a peace that is available from God that the world cannot begin to understand. May we all look to press into that peace while giving God our hearts to take care of, in place of any troubles or fears that this world has to offer. John 14:26-27 (26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (27) Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
  14. Same here, I'm shabby on the haircut, as Barbers are closed! And those 6' lines of tape are everywhere in any stores I've had to visit this past week. Mask and nitrile gloved people are everywhere. The only time I had seen this prior was on television with China, now it's here. Toilet paper, hand cleaner, bread, most meats, all gone for over a week in every store because of hoarding. A "small" amount of these items are trickling in some places now, with the signs that say "Two Only Per Customer & Per Family" as apparently some are running their family members through the checkout line one by one. I would add I've seen a fear in many lost people I've never seen before. This same "fear" has been good in reaching out with the Gospel, as long as I keep my distance, folks are listening more intently! In just passing, I'll mention NeedGod.com. Some Christians we know I'm finding are quite fearful too, some of them way overboard. I mention to them to cast their cares on Jesus Christ with that heavy spirit of fear, and prayerfully ask for His peace to be in their lives. While mentioning them to reach out with the Gospel to those they know are lost, and look to help in other ways as they can. Yesterday, I did a little cough about 75' from a man who was getting ready to turn down my isle, he turned and ran! One thing for sure, they want none of this for a while! All this being said, it kind of feels like an "end times practice run" of sorts with the whole world being involved with this one.
  15. Hi Declare, welcome to Worthy! Hey, along with all the good ideas here, a bit about my work day today, and those I met on the way. I had to stop several times, and people are always around. I enjoy mentioning the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ as I can, whether one on one, or a number of folk, during my work day, or my days off. Prior to starting our day, we always pray, as others mentioned. If we ask God for opportunities, and He seems to always give them. Today I met one involved with a "church" that believes "baptism's water" washes away their sins, and NOT the blood of Jesus as Scripture clearly tells us. So I had opportunity to correct the false doctrine, and point her to the shed blood of our Savior that washes away sins! I was able to give a concise Gospel message given to a few others along the way today too! "Most" were eager to listen if even at a distance. Over this past 2 weeks, I'm finding because of the fear involved with this virus, people are more eager to listen than usual. Give them their "space" but do indeed share! I've noticed this at Christmas as well, in general people are more receptive. Bojangles mentioned being led by the Holy Spirit, and AnOrangeCat eluded to the same, we all need to look to be led by God, and we will find those things we are led to do in the Bible! I would like to mention, rejection is good too in the sense that at a later time, the one who has rejected our Message, may reflect back to the Truth we shared with them at one point. I've run into a few hypocrites over the years that are not getting into the Kingdom, they are the toughest bunch it would seem. But I do have a love for them, and pray for them too! When the "danger" of this virus is over, good Christian tracts are also an effective way to share the Gospel by placing them into peoples hands. One can prayerfully place them in many places as well. Get creative. So, along with sharing the Gospel here, there, or elsewhere, prayerfully look to be led by the Lord as you share His priceless gift that He gave for all of mankind on the cross!
  16. Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, breads, rubbing alcohol, completely gone! In the midst of all this though, with this hoarding "fear factor" I'm finding more people listening more intently to the Gospel than before when I'm reaching out to the lost. Keep this in mind as you go through your day even if you have to talk to them from 6' away! For an once of humor, I saw this on the net, it does seem to be the way many are thinking!

Along with rampant homosexuality today, God sees all sex as sin if not within the boundaries of of a marriage between one man and one woman. Sexual sins are also a bit different, as they also sin against their own bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication (or other sexual sins) sinneth against his own body. Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Jude 1:7, Genesis 19:5, Leviticus 18:22 -Transvestism, (Those who are pretending to be a woman, when really a man and vice versa.) Deuteronomy 22:5 -Adultery, (Sex outside of marriage) Exodus 20:14, Deuteronomy 5:18, Leviticus 18:20 -Fornication, (Sex without marriage) Acts 15:20, 29 -Incest, (Sex with family members.) 1Corinthians 5:1, Leviticus 18:6-12 -Bestiality, (Sex with animals.) Leviticus 18:23-24 -Rape, (Force someone to have sex against their will.) Genesis 34:1-3, 2 Samuel 13:10-16 -Pedophilia, (One of the very worst of sexual sins, as fornication and/or incest is committed, and a child's innocence is violated.) Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.   19. @K9Buck I saw a prayer request recently taken down on account of your tone toward the individual requesting prayer. And now I see a prayer request by you with the assumption that Protestants hate Roman Catholics. As an ex-Catholic, I can assure you I have no hatred for the 1.3 billion Catholics caught up in those doctrines of men. I reach out with the Gospel in the love of Christ regularly to all who are caught up in the Transubstantiational christ of the RCC. Obviously, the statement made by Ayin applies to everyone, but you have stood out a bit lately.

  21. @Wesley L Wesley, sounds like you have a humble heart on this matter, and things are astray for this one proud man. In hopes he might repent, and return to his First Love as you mentioned. If others have seen the same and have addressed it with him as well and there is no change, perhaps he should be shown the door until he does repent. And if he repents, welcome him back, while watching for real godly "fruit" to make sure it's real. At the same time, I see you rightly dividing the Word on this matter, and are following what the Bible has to say. By all means, be late anytime in any Church when reaching out to others with the Gospel, it's the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Any real preacher would rejoice at your doing so! If things don't change, perhaps it's time to move on. The things you mention make this man unqualified, as he looks to "lord over God's heritage" and is not being an example to the flock, per these few verses: 1 Peter 5:1-3 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: (2) Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; (3) Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. John Gardner, 64, who received a lethal injection on January 16th 2020 for killing his wife Tammy back in 2005: "When asked by the warden if he had a final statement, Gardner apologized to his wife's son, daughter, and mother. "I would like to say sorry for your grief," he said. "I hope what I'm doing today will give you peace, joy, closure, whatever it takes to forgive. I am sorry. I know you cannot forgive me, but I hope one day you will." He also told several friends watching that he loved them, apologized again, and then asked the warden to begin. "I want to see the Lord Jesus so bad," Gardner said.

"The heinous murderer (Thanos) remained stoic throughout the last weeks of his life and never showed the least bit of remorse. In fact, during a hearing not long before he was executed — a hearing attended by the victim’s families — he literally mocked the still grieving relatives. “Their cries bring laughter from the darkest caverns of my soul,” he said.
" I had opportunity to share the Gospel with him prior to his killing spree, he was one mixed up cookie. Capital punishment was the good verdict brought forth after he was caught by the authorities. Time will tell, but I do not believe he repented and believed the Gospel prior to his lethal injection.
