  1. I'm not really interested in opinions outside of Scripture revelation... like I said illiterate... The objective nature of written material is of such 7 literal 24 hour days of creation and beyond this is illiteracy... The Word itself has founded this for me and my rest is assured by God in such... You have been told and shown yet you reject thus you await God's correcting of you...
  2. I understand God perceives love from me as obedience to the things He has told me... Leviticus 19:28 (NKJV) [28] ‘You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD. It is not the do to get aspect of law but how God askes me to love Him Matthew 22:37 (NKJV) [37] Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ [38] “This is the first and great commandment. [39] “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [40] “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” John 14:21 (KJV) [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Thus for me I want to know God intimately and if obedience will aid me in this pursuit then why would I do otherwise?
  3. a literacy that denies God's Word is really illiterate...
  4. Gen 12:9-15 9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south. 10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. 11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: 12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. 13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. 14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. 15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. KJV A unique position for Abram... knowing how every head turns when Sarai passes by. I wonder at the heart of God who bothers not to even look upon such: 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV) [7] But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 2 Corinthians 10:7 (KJV) [7] Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's. Between a rock and a hard place... either live in starvation or give up the physical vowed sacred union. The fire, from God, that defines life can be the very extremes of testing... it would seem neither would have been wanted but looking to the hope of future the choice was made... His love exceeded the outward physical attraction 1 John 2:15 (KJV) [15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Certainly, in the knowledge of all this helps us to obey the above... as Pharoh wanting the beauty that knowingly would fade then having no further want~ would kill that which was committed past the beauty called love... 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV) [13] And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Perhaps it better explains Abram's forming heart in looking for a city not built with mans hands...
  5. This is a possible fulfillment in the millennial state...
  6. I mean ... it was a nail biter right up to the end...
  7. Gen 12:7-8 7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. 8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. KJV Interesting that Abraham was not promised this land but His seed... I think this a significant thing God reveals to us through His Word! The relationship God wanted with Abraham is an encouragement to us all... God wanted for Abraham the NT covenant of His Own blood... because Abrahams heart is revealed in that NT covenant: Hebrews 11:10 (KJV) [10] For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. It is actually here where God reveals His elective process- the process being of God -through Abram- the entire world would be blessed... The start of it would begin in a pagan gentile, whom did not know God in specifics, until God revealed Himself to Abram with specifics (God's Word)... Because we have the finished Word, NT, from God this: Romans 1:20 (KJV) [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: This thought: God appears, speaks to, reveals Himself BUT the mechanics of are not spelled out... which leads us to one valid reality- it does not matter! Flesh would scream it does to; the s/Spirit adjusts to the eternal matters... By this realization of flesh vs spirit... we must go to the fulness of understanding given us by The Scripture: 2 Peter 3:11 (KJV) [11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Isaiah 65:17 (KJV) [17] For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Jude 23 (KJV) [23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Why why why because absolutely everything within our sensual means has been placed, in importance, before God Who has created such to draw us to Him SPIRITUALLY! Idolatry... as it was the begin in Lucifer's fall: Ezekiel 28:16 (KJV) [16] By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. [17] Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. My opinion~ the most important division The Word of God brings about... is to separate the created element as anything other than the Glory of God in His Revelations of Spiritual Persons 'God'... Our Lord has always been about that which is being kept not that which is passing away. For Abraham looking for a city built with God's own hands has it's fulfillment in the eternal state... Perhaps why He is considered the father of our faith... Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) [11:1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
  8. What OO said we have the same Bible software...
  9. I agree with Pat ... in fact present day evolutionary science is a faith based religion and not science at all! Science never guesses about anything.
  10. We should judge all by the standard of God's Word... it will lead us to the everlasting as nothing else will! 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
  11. I really target only violations of Scripture's plain teaching... it's my duty to God Jude 3 (KJV) [3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. How am I doing?
  12. May I ask what standard do you use?
  13. Matthew 7:2 (KJV) [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Understanding then if by the Scripture I judge then by The Scripture I shall be judged... thus my previous quote: John 12:48 (KJV) [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
  14. As I wrote- I did not specifically call you out but you tried to insinuate that I did... I try to abide by the TOS and speak to the topic and not the person! Especially no personal attacks such as your above did...
  15. that I disagree with the doctrinal system of a certain group is a flaw... I disagree with anything that doesn't coincide with the plain teaching of Scripture ... we all are under this judgment whether Judgment seat of Christ or Great White throne: John 12:48 (KJV) [48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Not what I think or you think but what God's Words say!!!
  16. You seem to be unable to distinguish from flesh and spirit... flesh is what you were born with and spirit is communication of the Scripture... this world, all it comprises, and body should be considered temporal and will be burnt up 2 Peter 3:11 (KJV) [11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, [12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? [13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. and forgotten Isaiah 65:17 (KJV) [17] For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 1 Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) [8] Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Revelation 21:1 (KJV) [21:1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. It should not be difficult for you to realize we are to be concerned with eternal things which are the souls of people and God's Word Psalms 119:160 (KJV) [160] Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. 1 Peter 1:25 (KJV) [25] But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
  17. I will quote them 100 more times till the authority of them are recognized... God's Scripture (written Word) is the sole authority for this life: 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
  18. It seems you are defending interest group after all...
  19. The intent of Jesus is clear in this: John 6:63 (KJV) [63] It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. These Words Jesus spoke are delivered to us by Scripture: John 14:26 (KJV) [26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Notice 'I have said unto you' NOT I will say unto you... I think this is an important distinction and with additional support from: Jude 3 (KJV) [3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. NOT will continue to deliver you... Your witness just doesn't fit with Scripture no matter how you want it to!
  20. Here's God definition of faith's source: Romans 10:17 (KJV) [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:8 (KJV) [8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; This is the written Word and God says we are to take it to all the world: Mark 16:15 (KJV) [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. What you suggest is subjective spiritism and it is witnessing that the objective faith delivered once to the saints is insufficient and needs more... I reject this solely on the basis of God written Word: 2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. bottom line your are teaching to not solely trust in the objective written Word but also a subjective inner voice that which is of a sensual nature that stems from flesh you claim as spirit... The written Word is an objective work of The Holy Spirit and we are instructed to try the spirits with it... 1 John 4:1 (KJV) [4:1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
  21. The spoken Word is the written Word: Habakkuk 2:2 ESV And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. Revelation 1:19 ESV Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this. Jeremiah 30:2-3 ESV “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you. For behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it.” Revelation 3:3 ESV Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Psalm 119:105 ESV Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. Hebrews 4:12 ESV For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Numbers 33:2 ESV Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the Lord, and these are their stages according to their starting places. 2 Peter 1:21 ESV For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
  22. Through flesh or through spirit? Because if it is flesh we want our earthy senses involved so as it is real to those senses... Because if it is s/Spirit then we are satisfied with the food of Scripture and our senses are unimportant to us because that will pass away and be forgotten...
  23. Mr M is this what you are saying? Certainly! Let’s explore the difference between “Scripture” and “Rhema”: Scripture (Logos): Definition: Logos refers principally to the total inspired Word of God and to Jesus, who is often referred to as the living Logos. Characteristics: Objective: It encompasses the entire body of written Scripture, including the Bible. Universal: It applies to all believers and serves as a foundation for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Examples: “In the beginning was the Word [logos], and the Word [logos] was with God, and the Word [logos] was God” (John 1:1). “The seed is the word [logos] of God” (Luke 8:11). “Holding forth the word [logos] of life” (Philippians 2:16). Rhema (The Spoken Word): Definition: Rhema refers to a specific verse or portion of Scripture that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention with application to a current situation or need for direction. Characteristics: Subjective: It is a spoken word—an utterance—that has personal relevance. Application: It is often revealed through prayer, Bible reading, or even prophetic words. Examples: When a verse stands out to you during prayer or study, it becomes a rhema—a living utterance from God. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (II Timothy 3:16). In summary, Scripture (Logos) encompasses the entire written Word of God, while Rhema refers to specific verses or portions that the Holy Spirit highlights for personal application. Both are essential for our spiritual growth and understanding.
  24. Among our more charistmatic Christian brothers and sisters, it is common to distinguish the two words as follows: rhēma = spoken word, usually referring to additional revelation that extends beyond the written word of Scripture logos = written word, usually referring to revelation as found in the Old and New Testaments And yes I stand against this teaching: Jude 3 (KJV) [3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The real question is why wouldn't any Christian stand for God's Scripture alone!
  25. I have read it from the people groups you mentioned..
