personaly, my faith goes beyond just the word it goes as far as knowing that there is a heaven and a hell and God. i learned to pray because the bible taught me to, but i continue to pray because i believe there is someone on the other side listtening, the word teaches us but that truth becomes alivve in me and then i walk by faith not by the proof in the wordbecauseit lives in me, and as much contradiction as there is in this iss thee isjust as much hypocracy as far as what kind of christians we are expected to live as, god calls us to be like him in heart but that doesnt give usteright to be him.

our job as christians is to encourage love not tear it apart, noone seems to be openminded that there might be pieces to the puzzle missing, and i believe Jesus would want us for that reason to give them the benefit of the doubt. in the book the father was aware tht ceratain things according to the bible didnt make s he admits that, but Christ shown through his son to the point where it was undeniable that the four yr old was serious and that he was telling the truth, there are things we may not know. i truely do believe in the living word, but i also believe that there shud be no idols above Christ himself,

i truely believe that unless possessed by demons all children are in jesus's likeness, and i believe there is a very good chance that jesus spoke to him and blessed him, and that all the what about's are beyond our own understanding, and i can assume that now at the age of 12 colton is probably being told to his face that he is a lie, and its sad, because when someone knows that they love god and and others who 'love god' try to tear his poor confused heart apart by telling him hes a lie, what kind of an effect will that have on his faith, and in the eye of god were dispicable for challenging wether or not a childs heartis in the ritplace. you all remind me of those who spit on jesus an called him a false prophet on his way to the cros as he cried to god theyknow not what they do. who are any of us to say that boy is not with christ, when he has only proclaimed his love forjsus, shame on all of you. my heart aches fo him, because no scholar of the bible can begin to understand what REAL truth is

Man, you said that you believe that boy was being used, if hes truely loves God and so does his father, and if they were being honest to thier fullest ability (keeping in mind though a pastor he was not refering to the bible, only what he learned from his son) then the only one they were being used by is Christ! and please dont be one of the misled who chooses to battle against him, you dont want to get in his way. the bible is our living resource its true but it doesnt supercede Christ himself you are forgetting........Fez, your cool beans

......very, very, very bad. : ( first of all i personaly know a man who was an athiest, he was killed in a motorcycle accident. he was placed in the morge in a zipped and locked body bag. through that first nite his bag was found zipped open and he was breathing. he met jesus, and spent time with him. now to this day he is saved and shares his story with every stranger he meets to do Gods will. so you can not say that 'noone sees God or Jesus', there are many others in the world that can prove that false. second of all When you judge a child or anyone as a matter of fact and call them a liar without proof you are sinning yourself against God, and third of all i just lost my faith in God cause Jesus doesnt ride up and down on an elevator and little boys who cry 'i love Jesus ' are sinners, so goodbye.

But what 'lie is the devil trying to prove through a four yr old? that colton saw jesus and wants to spread the good news to the world? if I was an expert in butterflies and my daughter described in her words a specific type i showed her, would you excpect her to tell you all about that butterfly in scientific terms that i would and mock her and call her a liar because she cant even prnounce scientific? and tell her shes knows nothing? or would you be openminded enough to see that her words may not match what her mind remembers?

Yes, !What evil is being distributed by that story? The devil is sneaky, and he does have his ways of creeping in slowly, but anyone to think that is the case here is himself being tricked by satan! Look at the big picture as i mentioned above the boy or his father is not trying to manipulate the bible, in fact it virtually has nothing to do with the bible!!! the boy merely recounted his time spent with Jesus, and the story was written for no other purpose then to hep bring new believers to Christ, and furthermor NO WISE MAN IS DESERVING OF RESPECT MORE THEN A CHILD SO SAYS TH LORD HIMSELF! CHILDREN ARE OF INNOCENCE, this boy cried in the funeral home' but no daddy he must know Jesus because if he dosnt he wont go to Heaven' how else really, would a four yr old feel that desperate about a mans salvation IF he had not met Jesus???!!!

....when a child says 'everyone' they probably mean 'alot', and im sure everywhere you turn in Heaven there is a pair of wings near you, its just not okay to attack a child about an experience God gave him, and lets say it was just a dream he had............it was a beautiful dream that will save his soul, be happy for him, not judgmental, God wouldnt appreiciate that apprh, the boy or thefather mean no harm or disrespect to God. And in fact I believe its true.

....how do you know how he appeared to Colton? We are not to judge, God seems to have a purpose with this child, and in fact his experience being in a book maybe doing God's work and saving people as we speak. I believe that maybe in Gods eyes you would be safer saying you are unsure of your believe in the book then to try to argue with it, because if Colton was being truthful and that books purpose has only honest intentions its not to wise to mess with God and test him. A child does not see things the way we do, maybe at the time ohis resurection Jesus was drenched in blood when he entered Heaven and maybe now he is in white and purple, and for his love of children maybe he showed colton his horse in a hundred colors noone can not say that Jesus cant do what he likes in his own Kingdom, noone can say that God doesnt like to decorate maybe he didnt apear drenched in blood or with fire in his eyes as to not scare a child into actual death. maybe he presented himself as gentle and loving. as far as wings, fd

I absolutley agree, as a matter of coincendence last night I started a post in the outter forum specifically to encourage unbelievers to read this book to offset thier speculations.....wow. With ALL do respect sir, I can tell you know the literal words of the Word far better then I do. However, does God not say that we must become like little hildren before we can be like him, or walk his path? that father purposley again purposley made sure to NOT change his sons words into his own conclusons. You can not correct a child for nor being bibicaly correct, and YES I head that warning in revelations that says to not ad or remove frmthescripture, but Colton, at the timefour, did not in ANY way alter tescripture!!!!No..no...no he did not! Thank you soo much for your kind words and wisdom, its nice to not feel alone.I am the way you were, too ashamed alot of the time to pray, not feeling worthy of Gods forgiveness, feeling that if I'm still a sinner then it only makes me a hyprocrit to pray and ask him to forgive me. e. But youre right, I do feel sorry rite away and should then let him know. And yes, my husband is a hard issue, but I will take your approach and try to stay faithful to the Lord despite the adversity... thank you soo much!

Lol, it was actually like a 5 page email, and a p.s. later on reffering to Leviticus 18 and 22 where it says if a man has relations with another man the way he does with a woman that is detestable, and both men shall be killed and tthier blood shall be on thier heads. so I asked him to explain that to me!!

I personaly know a man, David, who was in a motorcycle accident, pronounced dead at the hospital, and was placed in a body bag and sent to the mourge. He was an athiest. During the night a watchmen of some sort walked by his body bag and saw that the lock on the zipper was released and the zipper was open a few inches. the man checked only to find he David was breathing. DAVID CLAIMS HE WAS TAKEN OUT OF HIS BODY BY jesus and directed to above the hospital roof where he saw a red high heel. after numerous surgeries he lived to tell his story to a dr. out of couriosity the dr sent someone up to the roo who retuned with a red high heel. David is now a repentful disciple of the Lord and has emense faith despite his loss of one ey and partial use of his left side.

Thank you! it was very discouraging wanting to quickly find a church to attend on palm sunday, and struggling with my own hard times trying to repent, to come across a church that has no remorse for God and glorifies its sin! very very discouraging, and it broke my heart for God.
