  1. The message in tongues is that it takes faith to do it. If one has never exercised that faith then how will he understand? It doesn’t matter what language one speaks -- tongues is universal to all who speak in tongues and all who do and from different languages understand. Tongues is least of the gifts and usually is the first time one actually uses faith to manifest a result. I guess some cant muster even enough faith to accomplish the simplest task, let alone heal the sick or raise the dead. But these things do follow those who believe and use His faith to manifest a result. Having faith in Christ is not the same as having the faith of Christ, you are supposed to have His faith. No faith produces no results. Joe
  2. I see your point. But obviously there was a lot of stress involved in Jesus knowing what he was about to endure, after all sweating blood would be a good indicator for stressful times. Im sure he wasnt to excited about going through what he was about to go through. No one in his right mind would take it lightly. Another way to look at it is let this cup pass from him to us. Let us have in us that what he had in himself. Don’t let his death be for naught. Let this same mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus, for we have the mind of Christ. I think this could have been his statement as well. Take this cup and drink ye all of it. Joe
  3. What Job had in him was the same as Jesus had in him, and Moses, and Paul and all the rest. This flesh suffers and counts for nothing other than to house the pace God resides, the kingdom of God is within you, Christ in you. The cross is same example of Jobs experience with the flesh. Once we come to the realization of Christ in you then things as Job suffered has no relation to Spirit at all. The Devil will have one believe this flesh runs our being and in it we suffer, but in Gods kingdom these things do not apply. We are who we are not because of this flesh and what happens to it but we are who we are that directs that flesh. We are to have the mind of Christ, same Spirit in you who was in Christ Jesus, Job had this same realization. Noting can separate us from the love of God but we can separate ourselves from Him and then the flesh suffers the spirit. Joe
  4. I wonder how much of this we will be seeing in the near future. I am at home asking God to help me find others like myself who are tired of the lies within the modern churches. JohnDB, thanks for the read. Gary You are welcome. Personally I do not depend on man to disciple me, my education comes from God Himself, His same Spirit in me who was in Christ Jesus. If one is deluded it because one is looking toward man for his education and man can only give you opinions. Christ in you opens all of Gods kingdom and nothing is hidden. The revelation of the Christ is Christ in you. Luke 17:21 Behold the kingdom of God is within you. If Christ be in you how can you be deluded? We walk in the same light Jesus walked in. Joe
  5. Amen. In Christ there is no sin at all, it is outside Christ that one is a sinner. It is impossible to be in Christ and be in sin, it cant be done for Christ came to take away the sins of this world. Christ in you is without sin, either is formed in you and you are in Christ and righteous or you are not in Christ and a sinner which is of the devil. It is one or the other but impossible to be in both. Those who say they are sinneres have never met the One who takes that from you. Joe
