Sharing the Love of Christ with others is a very important thing to do. People are waiting and yearning for this, to receive the desired peace in their lives. We are to be encouraged as Catholics to do it, by praying to the Holy Spirit for guidance and courage. Only this way we might witness to a change in society, in politics, witnessing to better religious families. Wow.....this seems to have been a very interesting and debating post 'Catholics and Christians are to pray for unity'. If each or most of the above post initiated a prayer for unity, for sure much more peace would have been created. The past is the past, and all of us together in unity are to learn from it. It is useless now to point at eachother, condeming eachother, it is better that we sincerely forgive, live the present moment, and take initiatives to bring unity amongst us. Yes, I strongly believe that : Together we can change the world. Together we can change society. Together we can bring peace to the world. Together through the Trinity we can evangelize and bring the good news to all nations. It is up to each individual if you want to take this challenge or not. In Malta I attend various meetings with my Christian brothers and we all thrive for unity, we Love eachother, resepect eachother, and we try to build this unity. In each religion there is the Golden Rule.....that is LOVE. So we need all to concentrate on Love towards all. I hope that this is more clear and I do hope that yes we pray for eachother, I do that everyday of my life and I am in peace about it. May the Lord enlighten you all through His Love for you. Today’s society puts a big challenge on our faith. We might feel that our faith is threatened. This is the challenge we are to face on a daily basis. If built on a solid rock our relationship with Jesus will not break by any threat. Our faith depends on our relationship with Jesus. We are to be responsible to increase our relationship with Jesus so to strengthen our faith. We are to find the ways and means to nurture our faith. Deep in our heart, we know what we should do to nurture our faith, we know whom to seek, and where to go. Jesus has told us what to do. The question is, are we doing it? Are we letting society influencing our faith? Or, we are letting our faith influencing society? Nurturing our faith is each person responsibility and is possible when one seeks Jesus in a personal way. The love and peace that you receive from Jesus is a gift for you to give to others. Giving Jesus to others, is giving Jesus to society, is changing society. You are part of society, and have the responsibility to change society by giving Jesus! When in each moment of our life we live by embracing the love of God, and giving this love to the people we meet during the day, it is a way that would lead us to Sainthood. Loving, loving, loving our neighbour is the way to become a Saint. Through our love which we receive from the Love of God, the people that we meet will also receive this love, and they will also pass on this love to others. I firmly believe that today's evangelization is primarily to be held by the youths. Although this responsibility is entrusted to every person, I see the youths can be very effective to evangelize. I feel that as a Church we need to trust more the young people to do evangelisation work, give them the challenge, give them the courage, and send them out to every corner of the world. I have experienced this in my life and spent six years doing evangelization work with ICPE. God gave me the grace to visit different countries and having the opportunity to spread the Gospel. Today I evangelize in a different way!!!
