I obviously know what is written in The Angel and the Little Scroll, I also know what I have experienced, the two are very close. Coincidence you may say, fair enough but that leaves all the other coincidences that happened, causing my life to follow a set course (so much for free will), does coincidence lead to interpretation of, at least, parts of Revelation. Since starting this thread my life seems to have returned to normal, in other words no compulsion to gain any further knowledge, another coincidence?

Maybe I should have said spirit of John resurrected rather than reincarnated poor choice of words on my part.

I am well aware about reincarnation and christianity yet nearly all of you are expecting the Two witnesses to be Enoch and Elijah sent back (reincarnated). You cannot say reincarnation is false teaching while waiting for 2 prophets to be reincarnated. As for being a non-believer maybe 4 years ago but now I am probably more certain of Gods existence than almost anybody else.

How do you know it was God that showed you these 2 witnesses? Lets look at the Angel and the Little Scroll." The mystery of God will be accomplished", this refers to the final questions about where the universe and life came from and how. The Angel refered to is a spiritual guide or teacher provided by God, the little scroll contains the knowledge that leads to understanding the mystery of God." Take it and eat it" means learn what is written on the scroll. "It will turn your stomach sour but in your mouth it will taste sweet as honey". This means the sweet taste of success in learning what is on the scroll, sour in the stomach is the realisation that everything you thought you knew and understood is just an illusion and that nobody else will understand or accept what you have learnt. The way it is written " I took the little scroll" etc shows that only one person will be given the knowledge and is expected to spread it " You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings" Take it as you will I can only speak through my own experience. I am intelligent enough to know how far I am away from mainstream teachings which only reinforces what I believe, in other words its to far away from conventional not to be right. I am also aware that this part of Revelation is written in first person and seems to apply only to John who is writing it. Next question Am I claiming to be John the one who wrote Revelation, well he died nearly 2000 years ago but could I be his reincarnation well that is not for me to decide but there have been times when it felt like certain parts of Revelation were personal.

So you have an interest in science, I to think it would make an interesting thread. As far as Revelation goes, the fifth and sixth trumpets cover the last 150 years or so, The angel and the little scroll plus the Two witnesses at the end of the sixth trumpet cover the present day probably together with the first parts of the seventh trumpet, Chapter 13 onwards is what is to come.

enoob57 thanks for the link to the Gnostics but that does not apply to me. The bible is the word of God, Jesus came as saviour. I have been guided to knowledge open to all who seek it, it is the revelation of the interpretation of that knowledge that I have been given hence my interpretation of the Two witnesses.

I have not come across the backfire effect before but I can see where it comes from. It is almost impossible to have a discussion/argument over the internet as people have their own views and tend to be closed minded to other views. Something that takes 5 mins to put across face to face can take 2 weeks over the net and still not get anywhere. The main problem seems to be the written word, you post something that seems obvious to you and get an answer that has nothing to do with what you think you have said. I try to be completely open minded yet I have yet to find anyone willing or able to see things from a point of view other than their own. Many of my views are to controversial or outside mainstream to be even worth trying to discuss over the net, but saying that they have evolved from studying mainstream. I have learnt to see with my mind rather than accept the evidence of my eyes and even though I have been trying to disprove my ideas what I read only strengthens them from both a scientific and a spiritual point of view (some may have read my interpretation of the Two Witnesses). I have found that if looked at in the right way they compliment each other. God created everything which means he must have put all the laws of physics in place at the beginning as well as being our spiritual father.

God is infinite, our universe finite, make of that what you will.

I am not entirely convinced by any current arguments. So a few thoughts on Rev 12 & 13. a woman clothed with the sun ?the church. an enormous red dragon with 7 heads 10 horns and 7 crowns on his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky. ? probably the government of red china the stars represent the earths population of which about a third live in china. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had 10 horns and 7 heads with 10 crowns on his horns and on each head a BLASPHEMOUS NAME. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. There are 7 deadly sins, the blasphemous names, the fatal wound being greed and the great depression which should have taught us a final lesson but obviously did not. So the beast could be the dark side of human nature. The difference between the dragon and the beast seems to be 3 crowns, question is what do the heads crowns and horns represent they are obviously symbolic. Then I saw another beast coming out of the earth............He also forced everyone..... to receive a mark........so that no-one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, WHICH IS THE NAME OF THE BEAST OR THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight let him calculate the number of the beast, FOR IT IS MANS NUMBER. HIS NUMBER IS 666. This seems to tell us that the beast and man are one and the same, they have the same number or that the beast is a creation of man it also tells us the the mark is the name of the beast or 666.

kwikphilly you do seem really concerned about me. No man can come to the father except through me, this is a bit of a problem for me, I did not actively seek God but what happened to me was more like Paul on the road to Damascus only it happened twice, he decided to come into my life and I can only suppose when. Unlike others such as yourself my belief is not based on faith but knowledge so strictly speaking I do not need scripture to maintain my faith, as I said before I have little choice as I know any path I take will be one chosen by God, this interpretation of the Two witnesses is just a step along that path.

Do you believe you're a prophet? Nope. Do I believe I have been chosen for some reason, that is the only conclusion I can come to although being the false prophet is a bit of a worry. To be honest with how I know God I should be joining the ministry and giving my life to him but I know that that is not his intention. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Possibly the most important words in the Bible. Hippie, you are looking at the words from our, mans, perspective not from the perspective of someone looking down on us and into the future, the words describe the vision given by God, I have been shown how to look from Gods perspective. Where does it say they will give testimony of the Gospel, you are adding words to what is written, a fatal mistake, just as those who say the holy city is Jerusalem, again this is not said. You see our universe as vast, I see it as smaller than a grain of sand in the largest desert on earth. I am thankful that you all are trying to show me the right path as you see it, worried about my soul, I however have to follow the path I am being lead down and I know from personal experience over the last couple of years that I have no choice in the matter. As I have said before time will tell. As you say no-one agrees with my interpretation, I did not expect anyone to, but remember everyone at one time thought the sun went round the earth. I accept Jesus as the son of God sent here to save us, but as my own personal savior I have the Father.

God has been guiding the universe and us since the beginning of time. While the Bible is Gods word and tells us how to live the advancement of science has also been under Gods guidance, the great thinkers such as Newton and Einstein developed their theories under the guidance of God even if they did not realise it. You may insult all you like, its not unexpected. I am not going against scripture, despite what people seem to think, I just have a deeper understanding of Gods purpose. As the book of Revelation plays out so God will reveal himself, if I am to be part of that then so be it, it will happen as and when God decides.

He will teach you all things. Three years of study is only the beginning unless God is your teacher, all teachings of scripture to date are the interpretations of men based on the words of Jesus some of which can only now be interpreted properly. The Bible says far more than you know.

OneLight thanks for the words I know your heart is in the right place and are giving what you see as good advice. Before the 3 years started I was a skeptic about God,then in those days at the start I had many confusing thoughts, to the extent I was almost unable to function at a normal level, I even said at the time I needed the help of a Theologian and a Physicist, I have been guided through the last 3 years in a circle that has lead to understanding the confusion by someone who knows better than any man, I even thought at the beginning that I was destined to become one of the two witnesses but again that was down to the confusion at the time and I now know better although this interpretation is the last piece of the puzzle I have been putting together. I have not tried to justify science into scripture that is just where my path has lead. Why me? I can only assume because I have an open mind capable of lateral thought, free from the baggage of a scientific education and religious indoctrination, in other words I was open to being lead in any direction without question and intelligent enough to understand what I was being shown and I know from other forums this is a very rare trait, its as though my life has been all about this even the many years thinking the bible was a 2000 year old book that could not be trusted. As I said before we will see if my prediction comes true, this will also prove to me whether God has been speaking to me or if I am just insane, but I know the words must come to pass and no-one will believe me until they do, its just a cross I have to bear. I now understand possibly to a greater extent than anyone how close to God we really are and that is closer than even you may believe. Everything is connected and to truly understand you need an understanding of everything, I believe I now know Gods purpose in creating our universe, how it was done, why we are here and where we are going, but that is going beyond the purpose of this thread. OneLight you need to see things from Gods point of view not ours. Gravity is the stumbling block to joining Relativity and Quantum hence things like string theory which have superseded them (overcome and killed them), they will be given life again when these theories are proven false. Dont forget when God created the universe he had to put into place all the laws needed for it to work so he was a scientist as well, so as to speak, in fact we have only gained knowledge as God has allowed. I have spent three years under what I believe to be divine guidance to reach my interpretation. If I am right my prediction will come true but it may take a while, 2 or 3 years perhaps, if I am wrong I will be happy to take my words back. You also are unaware of all the knowledge I have been given particularly of parts of Revelation immediately before the Two Witnesses, which has allowed me to place the Two Witnesses in the present day. The contemporary view is that 2 superhuman prophets, Elijah and Enoch, will appear from nowhere and do as described in the prophecy, God is far more subtle. How many bottomless pits with beasts in do you know of. Also the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified, this is obviously not Jerusalem, this is a symbolic representation of the place being described, yet I admit as a mere man I am unable to interpret all the words of the prophecy, but I suspect that is due to lack of information. Relativity and Quantum Theory tells us how things work and what may happen, think orbits of the planets etc, this is a type of prophecy, predicting the future from past events. There is far more regarding what is written in the bible and Gods purpose, much of it hidden and some that I have seen, but it will not be accepted until my prediction comes true. God is wiling to talk but how many are willing to listen? How many in these times truly live according to the words of Jesus and the Bible.

I agree. The dragon is probably China. It has recently embraced capitalism, especially since the takeover of Hong Kong, maybe the beast from the sea. The beast has the same number as man so is created by man. The world worships money.

Not sure exactly what you mean but prediction was posted as proof that it had been made with short description as to why. Time will tell.

When trying to understand Revelation it is necessary to remember that John was writing down visions given to him by God. It was written some 2000 years ago and he would not have understood much of what he was writing so it was given to him in a form he could understand and only now with our level of understanding can much of it be interpreted. You should also remember that much of it is written in spiritual form rather than physical i.e Beast could mean something that is not understood rather than a physical creature, and the same goes for what appear to be men such as the two witnesses and when death is refered to in one form or another it could mean spiritual or physical. The 7 trumpets are basically in chronological order. The first 4 are events that happened many years, possibly millions, ago. The fifth trumpet starts at around 1880 and the sixth ends around the present day, the seventh is about what is to come. There are enough clues for me to be fairly certain about the dates I have given. Rev 12 -3 The red dragon is likely to be red china where the official line is" there is no God"," his tail swept a third of the stars from the sky", China has around 1/3 of the worlds population and this means that they are lost to God because of the official stance on religion. I am aware that there are christians in china.

Thanks. I searched for the two witnesses using the search facility but it failed to find anything. As I am unable to post in the thread referred to above I will post my thoughts here. The two witnesses are not men they are the two theories that describe how the universe works, witnesses to Gods great wisdom, Quantum and Relativity. How can I say this well the fire that comes from their mouths is the fire of truth. The beast that comes up from the abyss is gravity and the abyss a black hole. will overpower and kill them, as I am sure most are aware Gravity is the stumbling block to joining the two theories together, its a beast through lack of understanding. These two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth simply means nobody really understands them. I am going to make a prediction based on the last part of the prophecy - Something is going to happen at CERN that will explain the severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. If this comes true I believe it will be the first time a correct prediction has been made based on biblical prophecy.
