  1. I would be interested if you can provide us with where you find this in scripture, or if this is just a belief you have. My pleasure. This is not my opinion, but found in the Bible for anyone to read. Here are the biblical references you asked for. Be blessed: the book of works- Malachi 3:16,18+ Matthew 16:27+ Revelation 22:12, the book of false-witness and injustice- Matthew 12:36,37, the book of adultery- Hebrews 13:4, the book of cruelty- Psalm 109:5,13,14, the book of justification- Luke 10:20, the book of wounds and tears- Psalm 56:8+ Ezekiel 2:9,10, the book of caring- I Timothy 6:18,19, the book of blasphemy- Matthew 12:31,32, book of life, AND OTHER BOOKS- Daniel 7:10+ 12:1+ Revelation 13:8+ 17:8+ 20:12.
  2. I would be interested if you can provide us with where you find this in scripture, or if this is just a belief you have. You will find these throughout the scriptures: "For the Son of man will come in the glory who's Father of him, with angels of him, then he will reward to each according to the Works of them." Matthew 16:27. "For we must all appear in front of the Judgment throne of Christ, that every one will receive the things in body, according to what we have done, whether good or bad." II Corinthians 5:10. Yes, I have read about what will happen. I was speaking to how you named so many books that I have not found in scripture, which are many: book of works - works is mentioned, but not as a particular name of a book the book of false-witness and injustice the book of kidnapping the book of adultery the book of robbery the book of extortion the book of cruelty the book of justification the book of prayers the book of wounds and tears the book of caring the book of forgiveness the book of repentance the book of blasphemy the book of sacrifice I have not read of these and wanted to make it clear that this is a personal belief, extra-biblical, and not found in scripture. We have many who come here seeking, so clarity of what is actually found in scripture and what is not is important. In Revelation 20:12 we do read "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books." There is no mention of what they are, how many there are, or what is in them. We are left to our imagination about what they may be, yet it is wiser to be silent when scripture is silent, or be clear to the reader where the information came from. I know of the books. I have even personally been shown one of them in heaven, called, the book of justification. It is a very large, black covered book, and has white pages inside, and the writing inside was English. But besides it's very large size it is not a typical book as one would think it to be. I was not shown every page in the book, but the book was opened in the middle, and I seen only one word that was written in the middle of the page, which crossed over half of the word on the left page and the other half of the word ended on the right page, and the word that was written in the book was "Justified". Notice in Revelation 20:12, the word BookS is plural. So when Scripture says BookS, this is Inter-Biblical record of the Bible, and is not an extra-biblical belief, but rather a Biblical belief. Some people refuse to believe what is in the Bible, but their unbelief does not make what is written not written, but instead that what is recorded will be recorded and none can escape the record of their life, whether they believe their works are recorded or not recorded.
  3. Please provide scriptural references, I would be very interested to learn more. When we read the scriptures we learn that God is everywhere at the same time, and he is all-knowing. He knows our thoughts from afar off, he knows our uprising and our downsitting, and when we go out and when we come in. Even every hair of our head is numbered by him. Every thought and every action, and every thing that we do and has been done onto us, is recorded upon our souls. And on the Judgment Day when we each of us are called to stand in front of his great white throne in the tribunal, we must give an account of our individual lives upon the earth: that what we have done with Christ, and that what we have done onto others. That is why it is very important to rightly use our gift of freedom of choice, to accept Christ the Lord and worship and obey his commandments, and to love him and to care for others as we would care for ourselves. For we each will be held accountable for our words and actions. When you become born-again you will live to serve the King, and in the life to come you will be blessed and will dwell in paradise with the King. But to those who persecute the Christians, they will be eternally condemned to the lake of fire and brimstone for their wickedness. I cannot change this fact. God is just and his judgment is perfect. And I look forward to that day, for there is much evil and destruction happening against God's people, but the Almighty will have the final word. This is a sure word that we each should find comfort in. Our Papa will come with flaming sword and take swift vengeance upon all the enemies. So continue to serve the Lord in gladness and in prayers for his daily intervention. And the books of records of your life leave them to his care, knowing full-well that he always does what is the best for each one. I know that it seems unjust for the evils that befall us, but "God is with us", and "God is not mocked", and he that comes will not tarry, but he will requite swift justice for his children. He that planted the ear, he will hear: and he that formed the eye, he does see. Perhaps the actual passages and the quotes would be better? Where are all these books referenced to in Scripture? Curious. Opinions are great. God's Word is better. God bless, GE I quote scripture. Please read Revelation 20:12, and notice the word "bookS" is plural.
  4. Yes the baptism into Christ is God's supernatural doing. We cannot save ourselves as Noah found. Can you tell me why Jesus baptism "fulfilled all righteousness" ? It is my impression that this episode was to show Jesus was the one John had been foretelling would come. Mat 3:3 KJV For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Jesus obviously had no need for repentance nor baptism into His Kingdom. If Jesus meant water baptism was a salvational issue I am wondering why He did not baptise anyone Himself and why He allowed the thief upon the cross an exemption. can you explain? Yes, the Almighty has put on flesh and became as one of us in order to personally show us the way of righteousness. He showed us how to have Passover communion, he showed us how to pray, he showed us how to live a clean and holy life, he showed us how to love our enemies, he showed us how to get baptized, and he showed us how to share the good news of repentance which brings us salvation. So the Lord over all, personally demonstrated that baptism is a commandment that we must do, just as if Noah refused to build the Ark, then he would have perished in the flood with all the rest of the sinners in the world. It could be that people whom are in a world which has much water wrongly equates water to being unimportant for salvation. But this is where faith comes in, when we obey the Lord and get baptized God uses the water "He" made in order to produce his salvation. I recall how he can turn common water into the best aged wine in an instant. So I am not surprised that he can use water to bring a person into his grace. What a blessed thing it is to follow the Lord Iesous in everything. Is not our Lord the best in all the world, which he has created?

  6. Hello Jie, The baptism that saves us mentioned in 1 Peter 3:21 seems to be akin to the baptism Paul speaks of in Romans 6:3. Rom 6:3 KJV Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? This baptism is the spiritual death of the old nature and rebirth with the new akin to the resurrection of Lord Jesus may be forever blessed. Rom 6:4-6 KJV Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. We are not physically buried or literally crucified. This baptism is spiritual and the water baptism is a symbol of this it seems. The baptism into Christ, which saves us, is surely followed by the symbolic death and resurrection in water. imo Baptism is God’s supernatural doing. It is God’s commandment, for which if rejected then there is no heaven. The Lord himself came down to us to show us the way of righteousness, and he himself, our Lord, got baptized in order to fulfill all righteousness. God forbid that anybody try to diminish such a divine work as God’s commandment of baptism. Matthew 28:19.

  8. #1 what is the difference between the work of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament verses today? He spoke through the prophets of the old testament, and did many supernatural works through the righteous. Today he works through every born-again Christian speaking and doing the works of Christ. #2 How is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit evidenced in the lives of Christians? A holy Christ-like life and speaking glossolalia. #3 What does it mean to be born of the Spirit? (John 3:5) It is being born from Christ, he takes out the stony heart and gives you his new heart. #4 Why will we bear fruit if we possess the gifts of the Spirit? The Holy Spirit is God's life. #5 When does a person receive the baptism of the Spirit? After they ask for it in prayer. I'll appreciate any thoughts you have to share to get my mind spinning...
  9. When a person understands the difference between good and evil, they are accountable for their choices.
  10. Jesus says: "Go all you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, whom obeys and is baptized will be saved, but whom not obeys will be condemned. When once waited the God of longsuffering in days of Noah preparing the ark, in being few, that being eight lives were saved by water: then a before type, now baptism saves us, not a putting off of rank skin, but a good conscience up-praying up to God through resurrection of Jesus Christ." Mk.16:15,16+ I Pt.3:20,21.
  11. That prophecy describes Christ's persecution: Matthew 26:67,68+ John 18:22+ 19:1-3.
  12. Yes there are animals in heaven, all tame and all have the knowledge of God.
  13. According to scripture they are the same, the Lord is the Life and the Lamb of God. There are many books written in heaven besides the book of life, the which each soul is judged from them accordingly. There is the book of works, the book of false-witness and injustice, the book of kidnapping, the book of adultery, the book of robbery, the book of extortion, the book of cruelty, the book of justification, the book of prayers, the book of wounds and tears, the book of caring, the book of forgiveness, the book of repentance, the book of blasphemy, and the book of sacrifice.
  14. Um...there is a problem with this sort of reasoning. Jesus died 2000 years ago, therefore all the sins that have been committed since then are/were "future" sins. If He had only died for sins in the "past", the could be no redemption for us. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross extended into the past, the present, and the future. God doesn't see time as we do. We experience time as a series of consecutive events; God experiences time as a whole - all events, whether past, present, or future are occurring in His unbounded "now". He "inhabits" eternity: For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15 Jesus' sacrifice provided payment, once and for all, for the penalty of sin itself. Hebrews 10:11 ....every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man (Jesus), after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Tomorrow is not here yet, therefore there is no such thing as a future sin until the future arrives to a person. No one is guaranteed future days, for even as I write this there are some people dying, some are dying with their sins and some people are dying without sins. For example, if I die while I write this, then there is no tomorrow for me in order to sin in it nor to repent in it, for there is only today and whether I am with Christ today or whether I am without Christ today.
  15. Suffering produces conditioning, otherwise atrophy sets in and the person becomes undisciplined and unable to discern between evil and good in life in order to choose the good. Recall the end of righteous brother Job's suffering? All of his children were murdered by satan, and he himself was given an horrible disease where he sat himself down in the field and scraped off the sores and scabs from his skin with a piece of pottery shard. He cried against God, saying, "My days not few? Cease, let me alone, that I may take comfort a little before I go, I will not return, to the land of darkness and the shadow of death." Job 10:20,21. After Job's horrible suffering he said to God, "I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye sees you. Therefore despise I, and abase in dust and ashes." Job 42:5,6. So Job was blessed by God and God gave him twice as much as he had before his faith was tested- Job 42:10-17.
