I agree that a fertilized egg is abortion. Some do not think as I do.

Medically one must be pregnant in order to have an abortion. A person is not medically consider pregnant until the egg plants itself inside. That is why medically speaking. This is not consider an abortion pill. Taking this pill after the egg has already planted itself and starts to grown would not cause a person to abort their pregnancy. This of cores is medically speaking. There is a wide rang of believes out there that people have concerning the subject of when life begins. But I am talking from a medical point of view when I state that it is not the same as an abortion.

  2.

Are you saying you don't think a fertilised egg is a life?

You ask I will answer. No. I myself personally do not see a fertilized eggs the same as a human life. If someone else feels that a fertilized egg is the same as a human life. Then by all means they should not take this pill. If given the choice.  Would you rather a crazed killer run off with your fertilized eggs? Or run off with your infant  daughter or son?

I've often wondered if PETA and such ever wondered what would happen to the millions of cows, chickens and pigs in this country if everyone suddenly quit eating meat.  People aren't going to raise a thousand head of cattle for fun.

    LOL interesting point.

When they talk about animals it is always about domesticated ones. Cows, chickens, that sort of thing. But I live deer country. I am about 16 miles from town.  I have deer running freely through my back yard. Along with other wild life. I can not have a garden because every year the deer eat everything I plant. Deer do not have many natural hunters to keep their population in check. Over populated deer will destroy a forest and end up starving to death for lack of food. So......if everyone became a vegan. Wolves would need to be brought in to deer country to keep the deer population in check. Since no one would be hunting them. There would be so many deer that they would be running all over the place making a muck of things. The wolves that we brought in to keep the deer under control would have a rise in their population. With all the humans that are on the Earth it would be imposable for humans to avoid contact with these wild animals. Soon we would have deer, wolves, wild hogs, bears, ect ect running through our towns and cities. Clashing with humans. In the end the wild animals would have to be put down for the safety of us humans. Wild pigs are very mean and destructive. For that reason around here they are shot on sight.  So even though the vegans would not eat meat. They would have to kill wild animals or else be over run by them. Wolves running down children in our city streets. Bears breaking into houses looking for food. Deer eating all the crops now we have no food since all we eat are plants. Yep, that is how it would end.

A quite disturbing forum thread claiming that the only real Christians are Vegans. It appears to be using a lot of Biblical cherry picking:

Yes yes, same old stuff I have heard before nothing new here. Only "real" Chrisitans use the King James Bible. Only "real" Christian wear dress clothes to church. Only "real Christians read only the Bible and nothing else. Only "real" Christians homeschool their children. The list goes on and on.I tend to stay away from them type of people. Mostly because they don't like me because in their eyes im not a "real" Christian. It is not their judgment I am concerned with.

  5. I think that just because one person has some strange, exteam belives, and they just so happen to be a vegan. That that does not mean that all vegans like that and on their way to hell so to speak. Some people are just extream. They would be extream no matter what they are into.

  6. Because people get all offended when someone points out to them something they are doing that is wrong. So instead of taking a look at what they are doing and considering that maybe it is wrong. They turn it around on the person who is pointing it out to them because it is easier to point the finger at someone else then to to exam your own life. I myself could be consider a bit (how should I say) "liberal" in my views about some topics. Not "liberal" in a political way. I am not a liberal. But "liberal" in my choice of music, books, movies, tv shows, and social views. I know that some people would question my choice in movies for example. But I am alright with it and have no issue if a fellow Christian comes up to me and questions as to why I think it is okay for me to watch such and such movie. I will gladly tell them why I think it is okay and listen to their reason for it not being okay and consider their point of view. I do though have a problem with people who say for example" you can not be a Christian and listen to such music or watch such a movie or read a certain book." That statement said in that way is to me passing judgment.  So perhaps also it is all in the way that a person says it.

  7. Your all going to jump on me for this but........

The morning after pill is not a chemically  induced abortion pill. You have to be pregnant first before you can have an abortion. The morning after pill is a high does birth control pill. It may prevent the egg from implanting into the uterus.   It has no effect on women who already are pregnant.  If you truly feel that an egg not being allowed to implant itself in the uterus is the same as taking a life, then don't buy the pill. But not everyone believes that way and personally regardless of what my believes are, I can not force what I believe on another person. If you do not want your daughters to have this pill then you should be willing to talk openly to your daughters about such stuff. But in the end it is their choice and they are going to be the ones who will live with what choice they make for themselves.

  8. I am a big Lord Of The Rings fan! While I don't know about a Christian theme or not. I myself just don't know. But it is a story about good over coming evil. What I get out of it is that if  good people sit by and do nothing, evil will destroy the world. And even if you think that evil will not bother with you, in the end if you do nothing to stop it, it will destroy you and all that you love. The unlikeliness of people can do amazing things. Who would have ever thought a simple little Hobbit could play such an important part in saving the world? It is a far more complex story then what I can ever go into here. But that is my take on it.

  9. This is very interesting to think about. Times are different then what they were when Jesus was here on earth. To be honest I am not sure that in our modern society if it would be truly posable to give up everything and walk away from it all to follow Jesus. I am guessing that when you say "leave everything" you do mean "everything" Your house, your children. your wife, your family. Your job, and all the money you have to your name ect ect. Oh and your car too if you have one. It may have been easier to do these things back in the time of Jesus. The rules and laws of our society  have changed. Now days if say your a man, a husband , father. And you deiced to leave your wife and children to follow Jesus, you can and most likely would be sued for abandoning your wife and children. You would be hunted down and order to pay child support for the children you left behind. If you did not get a job and pay your child support, you will be thrown into prison. Since you have given up everything I guess this would leave you homeless. In some cities it is actually illegal to be homeless. Homeless people  are rounded up and tossed into city jails. For the crime of being homeless and asking for money from strangers on the street so they can buy a sandwich. Also, people who work and have homes and what not. Think of people who are not working and living off the kindness of others. ( Which I guess you would have to do since you would have no money for food and everyone has to eat.) Anyway they think of them as a drain on society and living off of the work that other people do. The Christians of the early church if I remeber what my Bible said, I beleve that they worked and had money. Since Paul instructed them on givening money to the church and caring for people in need. So it seems to me that they didn't give up everything. So how do you care for others if you have no means to care for yourself? Caring for others is one of the main teachings of Christ. Anyway I kind of went off on my own here and I'm sorry about that.

Has anyone know anyone who has actuly given up "Everything" to follow Jesus? If so what is it that this person does for Christ?

  10. This happes very offten with me. It seems that in times in my life when I have been going through or faced with was bad times. Somehow the right Bible vers is shown to me  and its just what I needed to hear. I am going through a diffacult time right now. My family has been accused of things we did not do. It has upset me greatly that these accusations are being made agenst us. Feeling a bit destressed about these things this morning, I opened my Bible and this was the first vers I read.

    Isaiah 54:17

No weapon formed against you will succeed,
and you will refute any accusation
    raised against you in court.
This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants,
and their righteousness is from Me.”
    This is the Lord’s declaration.

  11. If this is how you feel then don't have an abortion. But not everyone believes  as we do.  To be an unwanted chid born into this world is a harsh reality. We all want to think that every baby is loved and wanted. But many are not. And to be one of thoes who are unwanted and unloved is a curlity that no one should ever have to know. If you want to stop abortion you need to do more then just preach to other people and cary a sign. Are you willing to adopt an unwanted child? Are you willing to care for the needs of a women who finds herself with an unpland pregancy? Would you take into your home a teenage girl who finds herself kicked out on the strees after telling her parents she is pregnate? It happens.  Ask yourself these things.
