  1. Right, NT doesn't cancel out the OT. But it is like coming out of the shadow to brilliant light. It is the spiritual fulfillment of the OT which is applicable to all. Jesus fulfilled the letter of the Law. The OT rituals are no longer of importance since it is no longer the letter of the Law but spirit of the Law that is applicable to all--Jews and Gentiles.
  2. Luke can be trusted more than Paul since he doesn't brag of special revelation to him like Paul. Both Luke and Paul were not aware of the symbolic significance of calling twelve by Jesus. I reiterate again that Jesus never called Paul an apostle.
  3. A Christian should fundamentally believe in the words of Jesus. He is the way, life and truth. Any other writings should complement His words. Canon is man-made. I don't go with Davinci code. I don't even touch his book with a long pole.
  4. Right. That specific purpose has been accomplished: salvation is from the Jews. Now we worship God in spirit and truth. That applies to all.
  5. I am faithful believer in Jesus Christ and His words. Paul himself claims to lie, boast and be crafty. Paul-mania is not Christianity.
  6. Yes Paul was called to be a chosen vessel, not as an extra apostle( Acts). Only Peter calls him as his beloved brother, not as an apostle.
  7. Agreed. OT is the foundation. But you don't dig at the foundation when the superstructure has been built upon it.
  8. Bible has revealed the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The rest is man-made doctrines. Some of them politically motivated through emperor Constantine.
  9. Jesus called twelve apostles to judge the twelve tribes. The betrayer Judas was replaced. So anyone claiming apostleship is a liar according to John in his Revelation. One cannot quote self-claim Paul to prove his claims.
  10. Quoting OT after the advent of the NT has no value without considering the work of Jesus. It is no longer a physical entity. It is spiritual Jerusalem now. There is no difference between Jews and Gentiles now. All through Jesus only, no special privileges for the transgressors.
  11. Peter calls Paul as a brother, not as an apostle. Scripture refers to the OT. Logic can prove both ways. Quoting self-claims of Paul will not prove anything with regard to his assumed apostleship. Before Act 22:21, Paul was chosen as an instrument to witness to both Gentiles and Jews. He deviated from this commandment for convenience.
  12. No, that is the worst part of the Jews. Even with the OT, they fail to acknowledge Jesus.
  13. Jesus chose Paul as an instrument, not as an apostle. Peter no where approved of Paul's apostleship.
  14. If you continued to say that Jews are His chosen people, it means that. 1 Peter 2 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
  15. Mohammed was very much against idolatry which had crept into Christendom. He was not against Jesus. He was against making Jesus as God. The present political Israel is not given by God to Zionists. God will be a partial if He kept on forgiving the misdeeds of Jews. God is not just for Jews now, He is God for the entire human race He created provided they accepted His Son.
  16. That can be private interpretation. Now salvation for all through Jesus that may not require forced occupation of Jews in political Israel now.
  17. So shall we ignore the Muslims for their incomplete understanding of the role of Jesus? Are the Jews better off with similar incomplete understanding and total rejection of Jesus?
  18. I don't hate Jews. Nevertheless, I don't accept that God is biased in grating salvation to Jews. It is Jesus now for all.
