  1. Jesus did not chose Paul as an apostle. That was his self-claim like many others. You tolerate Jews blaspheming the Son?
  2. The chosen people tested the patience of God centuries after centuries. They were chosen not because they had special qualities but because God had plans of His own for the entire human race. They finally forfeited the grace of God by crucifying the Son. Parable of the Landowner 33 "Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard and put a wall around it and dug a wine press in it, and built a tower, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey. 34 "When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce. 35 "The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third. 36 "Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them. 37 "But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.' 38 "But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, 'This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.' 39 "They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 "Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?" 41 They *said to Him, "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons." From 70 A.D. onward, the Jews can only seek forgiveness to reach God through Jesus. God is not partial to grant special concession to earlier chosen people to seek Him. Anyone who shows favor to anti-Christ people hates God and His Son.
  3. God did chose Jews on certain conditions. They kept transgressing that centuries after centuries. The final parting came in 70 A.D. with the destruction of the temple and scattering of people. Now Jesus is the only way for all. Our living God is not a biased God.
  4. So you think Mohammed did a mistake in recognizing the virgin birth of Jesus something even Paul did not give importance?
  5. I have not made a detailed study of Replacement theology. I don't like the thrust found in Koran, that is, killing the infidels. Even if Allah was a different god, Jesus has been recognized differently--that itself is a good point. Muslims on many counts are untrustworthy. But it has also given Sufism. Whatever, Gospel need to be preached to them also. Jews are against Jesus, yet Gospel should be shared with them also.
  6. There is nothing wrong in what is written in Revelation. The 12,000 from each tribe were selected before the tribes disappeared. When the temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. all the records of the blood lineage disappeared. So there is no authenticity of blood relationship henceforth that includes the remaining tribes of Judah and Benjamin along with Levies. Right now in Israel the tribes are very much mixed-up.
  7. Assuming that the ten tribes exist is a man-made claim. Why are two tribes not included in the Revelation? It is well known that God wiped out the Northern Kingdom for their evil deeds. Bible is not meant for private interpretation. What can you make out of self-claims of Paul? I am not defending Islam, but it is better placed in acknowledging Jesus in comparison to Jews.
  8. Therefore, let us take the Gospel to Muslims who understand Jesus in their own way instead of thinking that Jews are still the chosen people that need special consideration.
  9. Though both Jews and Muslims need the Gospel, and if at all any preference to be given it should be towards Muslims with their own knowledge of Jesus.
  10. What I mean is that actually Muslims are better placed when it comes to the knowledge of Jesus compared to Jews.
  11. Yes, both Jews and Muslims don't have spiritual relationship with God after He sent His Son to die and rise again for saving people who believe in the Son. So both Jews and Muslims are not fully enlightened when it comes to salvation. Therefore, the need for the Gospel for both.
  12. But one may think that he has been taught by the Bible, but another may come up with his own interpretation again from the Bible.
  13. How many sects and denominations you find in Christendom? Why? There can only be one absolute truth. All the ten tribes no longer exist now. So there cannot be any restoration. Already 12,000 have been chosen from the twelve tribes discarding two tribes. No restoration and salvation without Jesus. What a logic? Mohammed came many centuries after John wrote Revelation. With your logic no salvation for people of USA since it is not mentioned in the Bible.
  14. They forbid idolatry. Like, Jews they believe something like Kosher for food and stoning people to death.
  15. They are against idolatry. They have recognized Jesus in their own way. Like Jews they, unfortunately, believe in something similar to Kosher and stoning people to death!
  16. I am not advocating anyone to become Muslim. I am saying they are better off compared to Jews in understanding the truth. Whatever, Gospel should be shared with them.
  17. The very fact the you overemphasize the the death of Christ implies that. Jesus is life.
  18. It is better than total rejection. Who do you support: a group that totally rejects Jesus or a group that recognizes virgin birth and spiritual relationship with God.
  19. Is it not better than total rejection? That way Muslims are better compared to Jews. Christianity has undergone changes and deviations too.
  20. Yes, Paul was a chosen instrument but not as an apostle. That was his own claim like many others. Thanks for quoting the several verses from the OT recognizing the Messiah. Unfortunately, they did not help in recognizing Jesus as the Messiah. Even now some Messianic Jews may have the same problem
