  2. Jesus taught that if a man is angry at his brother without cause, he has committed murder in his heart, and that is something I have personally done. So I cannot judge Valerie Tarico except as a hypocrite, because I have done the same evil in my heart. I hope that just as God has forgiven me, my sins covered by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He may also bring the employees of Planned Parenthood to an understanding of His ways. As we human beings took the life of our own Creator, Jesus prayed for us and asked God the Father to forgive us, because we didn't understand what we did. God has often granted mercy when people sin in ignorance and unbelief, as he did with Paul, when Paul was rounding up and murdering the saints! Paul then became a means of Christ offering salvation to many millions, through the early church, and through publication of Paul's letters. God's graciousness works miracles everyday, and there is hope for us all. Valerie Tarico could become a voice of wisdom crying out in the streets, teaching against the horrors of abortion. With God all things are possible. If you are pregnant and need help, call a local pastor, or just show up at a local church. There are many resources, and much help available to you -- you might be suprised at how much help is available, kindness included. I have yet to encounter a church where you will be hated because you are a woman or are sexual (read the story of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery: "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.") Abortion is something done out of fear, in many instances, and God has said "perfect love casts out fear." God is a provider! God is love! If you are depressed because of participation in abortion, I sincerely report that I have taken many lives in my heart, and according to what Jesus taught, there is no difference. I have been just as guilty as you, and I have been forgiven entirely! Jesus really does that! This is a doctrinally sound report of God's helping someone overcome depression, including freedom from medications and hospitalization: http://www.cbn.com/spirituallife/prayerandcounseling/fawcett_depression_0705.aspx Anyone at Planned Parenthood who repents, humbling yourself before God, I pray He grants you the same mercy He has granted me. Luk 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save. Joh 8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? Joh 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
  3. Re: feeling like a failure -- 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. A failure in the world's eyes is not a failure in God's eyes. If you feel despised, keep seeking God -- he can use you to confound the mighty, believe it or not! He ultimately brings everything in submission, everything and everyone, and every knee shall bow to Jesus Christ. That's all people -- everyone you see in day-to-day life, all people who seem important in this world. They are going to bow before Jesus Christ and acknowledge him as Creator and King. To acknowledge him today as Wonderful Counselor, Father and Savior is a great blessing, because I know a great secret -- I know why I exist, why the universe exists, and where the human story of death and suffering ends -- all of us kneeling before the throne of our Creator, Jesus Christ, who then brings about a reign of peace and justice that never ends. Psa 111:4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
  4. Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. In my life as a Christian some of the greatest rewards have happened after the most brutal struggles. I mean gun-pressed-against-my-head brutal. Look at the trials you undergo as miniature versions of your overall progress towards Jesus and home. The darkness is going to be overwhelming at times (especially as dawn approaches), but greater is he who is in you than he who is in this world. You are ultimately destined for the arms of Jesus, for HOME! For the JOY set before him, Jesus suffered the shame and torture of the cross. Remember the JOY awaiting you! This world is an incredibly distressing place! The law has shown us our hearts, our true condition, and we are wretched! But God's heart is not hardened against us. We sin and sin, and yet how he loves us! How much does he love us? "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Nailed to the cross for us, he experienced that same feeling we know so well -- the feeling of being lost, terrified, and helpless, without even God to help! But God had not forsaken His Son at the moment, and neither does he forsake his sons and daughters still living (and dying) in this world. Jesus prayed that the Father would protect us from the evil, and that is exactly what He is doing. If this world breaks your heart, you are SANE. Psa 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psa 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Psa 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Psa 34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. Psa 34:22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
