It is definitely justified in the bible. Like the story in the book of Numbers where that wood gatherer was stoned for gathering wood on the Sabbath.

The bible does say homosexuality is a sin. Leviticus 18:22 for example. That doesn't mean it is worse than the sins that Christians commit, but it is a sin. There is a push in America for its sinful nature to be denied.
