  1. This is scripture and I know this from a little child. Other comments I would rather not comment because we both understand that they are not scripture. Jesus said that the devil has nothing in me and He died in full obedience to His Father. Did Jesus had any reasons to feel happy, satisfied that He died according to scripture.
  2. @Mr. M I am not interested in discussing it. Unless you answer the question. Did the Heavenly Father died for the forgiveness of our sins? Is He the head of the church? Are we His sons?
  3. These statements are from your postings. I take it that they are your words and you posted after considering and thinking and reasoning, and rethinking if it applies. They should represent your thoughts before you put them down in words. If they were your words that came from your thoughts or representing your thoughts then you should be able to know your thoughts before you put them down in words. Did you put the word "God" in the applicable context knowing whom the word "God" represents. This is what I am asking you to tell us who the word God is referring to in those two statements.
  4. Now the time has come for you to clarify in your statement the parts that you use the word God. By saying "God" what are your thoughts for "God" in the context in your statement.
  5. What is this statement in your post in parentheses bellow. ("In Christ we are all gathered into one - one family with God our Father.") "(This is what the Father's many sons brought into glory does!)".
  6. This is your statement in a recent post in parentheses bellow "(Amen! In Christ we are all gathered into one - one family with God our Father. His original purpose with us as He stated in Genesis 1:26 - man in His image having dominion. This is what the Father's many sons brought into glory does!)".
  7. Greetings to you and blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ. Pay attention to this "niether Esaiah's in 9:6 and neither Paul in Colossians said that the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. And neither the prophetic in Esaiah.
  8. I disagree with the statement in your first paragraph in parentheses bellow. @Vine Abider ("In Christ we are all gathered into one - one family with God our Father.") The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is not the Head of the Church. To say "with God our Father" it not what Paul said in Colossians chapter 1. And @tatwo posted in Esaiah 9:6. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Colossians 1:3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you.
  9. You are some how out of tune with Paul. Paul said that not too long ago the disciples and Pilate and the High Priest witnessed the death of Jesus on the cross and the Roman Coroner verified his death. That happened not before the foundation of the earth. But about 2000 years ago. That's when the disciples began to Preached that Jesus died and in three days was raised from the dead. Jesus died three days before his resurrection. If you know when Jesus was Resurrected then you will know that Jesus died three days earlier.
  10. Hello @Vine Abider thanks for pointing this misspelling out. Sheal=Sealed.
  11. @Vine Abid Because we are sealed with the Spirit of Christ it not the same as Christ making our abode in us. This needs to be discussed.
  12. In the Gospel of John we learn that Jesus Christ is the Life. He was the only one who was in the Life of God. Jesus has the same Life as the Heavenly Father. Is there something that is in the way to understand that?
  13. They are two different things. The Eternal Life is Jesus Christ. The Comforter came from the Heavenly Father at the time when Jesus was Glorified. The Comforter was given to Jesus Christ from the Heavenly Father. When? At the day of Pentecost. It came from Jesus Christ. And it comes from the Heavenly Father. Paul did not speak against that.
  14. You must be able to say that Jesus Christ did not have the Comforter whike He was here on earth. This why he couldn't give it to anyone and He told His disciples to wait for the Comforter in the upper room.
  15. Jesus Christ let them know that they are in him and He is in them. They were the New Creation they were Created in Him. They were in HIS ETERNAL LIFE. He let them know that they are in the New Covenant. Jesus is the ETERNAL LIFE. His trials and his tribulations came to the end on the Cross when He died. With his death Jesus ushers in the New Covenant. They samething happens with everyone who believes in him. This was to let them know what happens to everyone who believes in him. That's the point. Jesus did not do that to anyone else after that. He stay with them for forty days teaching them a lot of things. Forty days of resurrection teachings. And they were able to understand what Jesus was telling them and they said " the Comforter had not come yet because Jesus was not yet Glorified. The Comforter was not on earth yet. The Comforter was with the Heavenly Father and it was given to Jesus when Jesus was Glorified. And Jesus sent the Comforter to his disciples and to the rest. And from that day on the Holy Spirit the Comforter to those who believed in him in in the world. To convict the world of Sin to testify that it is truth about Jesus. The Holy Spirit of Pentecost not to confuse your self with the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. You must discern the distinction. No one had it because it was released from Jesus Christ on the Day of Pentecost who is in Heaven and it was given to Him from the Heavenly Father. It takes from the Glorified Jesus and represents Jesus Christ, it?was given on the name of the Glorified Jesus Christ. Before Jesus was not ascended He was not Glorified He was not sitted on his Gloriius Throne. Jesus is with the Heavenly Father. No one can take Jesus from the Heavenly Father and bring Him to earth again. Within the meaning that He is on earth and He is absent from Heaven.
  16. After what Jesus did breathing in them. After the Cross. One or two days after the Cross Jesus breath to them who were present at that time. And that's it. We do not have information that he did that again. Or a testimony from the disciples that he did that again at anytime close to less than forty days till his ansension. And those disciples said that the Holy Spirit will be given to Jesus Christ after his Glorification in Heaven. They said that the Holy Spirit will be given to Jesus Christ and they were referring to the Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father was given to Jesus after his Ansesion. They said that Jesus did not have the Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father yet. That the Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father has not come to the earth yet. And they said that the proof that Jesus has been Glorified in Heaven is that the Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father has come on the earth. And Jesus said wait for it to come on the day of Pentecost. God had not Given the Holy Spirit to Jesus Christ yet. In other words Jesus Christ cannot give to his disciples something he did not have yet. This post requires your response. It is a response to your post and you should respond back because we are in an open forum and many people are waiting for your response. Do you still stand by your quoted statements above when you posted them in response to Jesus words in John 16:17 . Why did you opposed? Jesus said that to his disciples many days after the event of breathing into them He was telling them that they do not have the Holy Spirit who comes from the Heavenly Father. Jesus identified the Promise Holy Spirit from the Heavenly Father the one to come after Jesus is Glorified as the Comforter.
  17. What do you want to say by that? What are you trying to prove?
  18. @farouk It can also help others who see the tattoo. It can remind them about faith and when they have one too many not to cause trouble and take a taxi home. It can remind them about many things and some of the people they had met when they were going to Church. And if their name suggests that they are from another religious background but the tattoo suggests something else like the sign of the Cross, or a reference to a Bible verse it can be a reason to start a conversation.
  19. I could bever imagine that. I never thought about shoes till I asked the question. This is what I know that we stand before Jesus as we are without our Heavenly body. And it must be so. It cannot be in any other way. As we are waiting for his decision. And yet we will be guided to Heaven. I do not think they will be just drop there and be left on our own. I am thinking if it will be a ceremony where we will be clothed with our Heavenly bodies and I will be very excited because the last time I looked in the mirror I was very old. I don't think the disformed from accidents they will stay disformed for eternity.
  20. I could bever imagine that. I never thought about shoes till I asked the question. This is what I know that we stand before Jesus as we are without our Heavenly body. And it must be so. It cannot be in any other way. As we are waiting for his decision.
  21. To God it's done. The old is out. To the believing Jews who came out of the Old the New has come. They commemorate the Old Covenant from the Mount Sinai Moses brought down to them. And the Celebrations God had ordained in the Old. And they thanked God for Jesus Christ who died for the forgiveness of their sins. Peter said it's done. The New has come. Jesus is Glorified. What Jesus said in Mathew 24:29 had been fulfilled the time Peter spoke the words in Acts 2:20 by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  22. What are you saying about your self when the time comes when your heart quits on you. Then what?
  23. Of course in the New Earth Sinners are call to have their sins forgiven in Jesus Christ. Peter preached the Gospel in the Day of Pentecost. And it happened in the New Earth. This is how we know that the Old has passed away and the New has come. Peter told the people who were in the Day of their yearly Atonement that they were in their sins. And Peter told them that the New has come they can have their sins forgiven in Jesus Christ.
